I am 36 weeks pregnant and I am scheduled for a c-section at 38 weeks. Within the past week I have had a yellowish pasty discharge very bad to the point I am having to wear a panty liner. It has a foul smell to it. I have also had a little bit of brownish spotting. Is this normal for 36 weeks?

the discharge is not normal and i would see a doctor right away about it. sounds like an infection of some kind. spotting is normal.

No, it's not normal. It sounds like you have some sort of infection, you should tell your dr about it. Since you're 35 wks, you'll probably see the dr this week anyhow. ANYTIME YOU HAVE BLEEDING, YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DR and brownish spotting is bleeding.
