Try stopping entirely for now. Give yourselves a date in the future that you will try again, say in a years time and just enjoy yourselves in the meanwhile. You could always start a new job, book a skiiing holiday (get insurance) or start something else where being pregnant would be most inconvenient and you may find that you fall pregnant then. I think they call that s*ds law. It happened to me!!
Good luck but near in mind that 2 years is not uncommon to conceive and getting stressed about it could really muck up your ovulation cycle. I have been through this myself so know how hard it is to turn off your enthusiasm but starting a new job did it for me x

You are a wise person to plan ahead but are you sure you want a child ? Perhaps you are unsure of that and don't know how to tell her. If you do,explain to her that your family will be financially prepared to to better care for a child after you pay your house off . By doing so this might assure that she will not have to go to work to raise the extra funds required to raise a child. Keep reassuring her that you love her and only want the best for for her. Make a big countdown calender to when you will be able to conceive. Do a lot of little nice things and be considerate to her along the way until she becomes pregnant.. Show her why you will be the best dad in the world once your child arrives. Good luck!

i dont think that u will ever STOP thinking about getting pregnant. i mean really think about it... u walk down the street and u see a baby stroller, u go through a store and u see baby clothes every where, u go to work and ur co workers r talking about their families and of course they all r having babies. i have been trying to get pregnant the past year and it is so hard to not think about it. i see all these girls just popping babies out and i sit there and think "why not me" i want a baby more then anything in the world and i know that i am a good mom {my son is almost 6} and would be a great mom with another one. but the best advise i can give is that when it is time it will happen. i know that doesnt help. but if u keep stressing about it then u wont help urself. i really hope that u get pregnant and i hope it works out for u. good luck

I haven't been pregnant before, but just started trying and I'm already driving myself crazy. So far the only thing that works is to keep myself really preoccupied so that I don't have to think about it. When my sister initially tried to get pregnant she was so consumed by the thought that it took her for 4 years to get pregnant and it happened when she began focusing on her new business (fertility meds were delivered the day she found out she was pregnant). Find things to keep your mind busy!

I'm 26, I am in the same boat, actually I asked a similar question, to which I got some similar answers. I also cannot stop thinking about a baby and how I want one to be growing inside me. Its hard and I have tried to stay busy like people have told me to. I just cant relax, I cant get it off my mind, and all the time I try to think of something else my brain is aware that I am trying to distract myself. Its miserable isnt it. I have people in my family who didnt even try to conceive, they werent wanting kids and they got them. I wish all of us who want children will be blessed with them mighty soon. I will keep you in my prayers along with the many others of us who are TRYING to conceive. Isnt that why they call it trying to conceive, because you want a baby? How can you be trying to conceive if you arent dreaming of a baby? I dont get it, but keep trying and praying and your little miracle will be here before you know it. BABYDUST!
I would like to know when you do conceive.

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/G7Cce
Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.

Just give it time. My cousin tried to get pregnant for 4 years and just before Christmas she finally did get pregnant. For most women it's not always easy to get pregnant, but if you just are patient it'll happen.
