I am at 5 weeks and 5 days and I think I'm already getting a little pooch. Has anyone noticed it this early with you pregnancy?

Also, when did you start looking pregnant with each of your pregnancies? I've heard it's sooner with your 2nd pregnancy.

Thanks ladies!

I am 14 years old, and have alot of experience in children ages 5-10 and a little in children ages 1-4. I am home schooled meaning that I can work odd hours(10am-9pm). Anyone have any ideas for getting my babysitting jobs. Also I don't charge alot, I usually talk with the parent on finding out a price that is right for the amount of hours and days a week.

My 4 month old is rolling over, ALL THE TIME! She rolls herself in her crib the most. My boyfriend is worried about her spending time on her stomach, such as suffocating if she is crying because she rolled over and can't do anything else. Should we be running to her crib every few seconds when she starts to cry after rolling over or should we give her some time to work on her muscles to prop herself up? I really don't know!!

My daughter I carried higher. I am pregnant with a boy this time and he is so low that even though I am smaller everything is harder (getting up, bending down). My tummy hits my legs every time... and I am not even huge yet

Okay, I have a problem. I am 14 years old and am in the 9th grade. I rarely do my homework. I get home at 2:00 everyday (except for the next few months coming up when I will be home at 5:00) and usually watch TV or go on the computer and never get to doing my HW. I tell myself that I should do it because I will regret it the next day but still never do it.
I still hold it off and the day comes that I have to hand it in and usually copy it from someone. I don't want to get anyone (parents included) involved to help me actually do it becuase it is my life and my grades. I want to do good, but I don't want to do the HW but know I should.

Does anyone have any ideas that could possible help me do my HW on my own without anyone's help? Things that will actually make me do it without getting distracted or waiting till the last minute.

Thanks to all!

I am going to do labour alone this time

and last time I went into labour before I was even 1/2 done prenatal classes and made it just fine

What is the point if you are doing labour alone (a friend will come to classes with me for support, but no one in the delivery room)?

I have 15 month old son and I am trying to find someone that can babysit odd hours. We would probably only need someone for a couple of hours Sun-Thurs and sometimes on weekend nights. I have never left my son with any sitter that was not in our family or lived next door. Is there a way to go on line or some kind of service that I can use to find a good sitter in my area (Richmond-Petersburg VA)? Thanks.

So my daughter has some bacteria in her eye and the doctor prescribed some eyedrops. So how do I put them in her eyes? Can I just drop it in the corner when her eye is open or do I have to hold her eye open? I'm also to start giving her saline nose drops, poor baby. Thanks!

My brother rough houses with my daughter (she is 7). They have alot of fun but when I ask him to be more gentle. He doesn't. When I corner him about it, his attitude is that I am single mom and my daughter needs a man, besides life is hard and she needs to toughen up.. or some crap like that. Anyway, one minute she will be laughing and they are having so much fun, then she says 'stop' and he doesn't stop playing rough (not to be mean... he just doesn't 'hear' her or me). He is a fun guy, handsome, sucessful, a great sense of humor and a very strong personality. My daughter has on occasion gotten hurt (by accident like biting her tongue and stuff when it gets to rough). I told my mom that this it really upsetting me and that kids need to learn their 'no' counts and that their mom's 'no' counts too. That kids that dont' feel in control of their lives end up letting people abuse them. Basically I was told that I am over reacting because she only sees him a occasionally.

I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant, and separated from my husband. I know he deserves to be there when our child is born, and that to exclude him from that definitely won't help when and if we decide to work things out... but it's such a vulnerable position for me. To boot, I am going through MAJOR depression because of all of this, and I don't know if i will be able to handle having him there. How can I be fair to him and still keep my composure without it affecting my ability to concentrate on the birth? When do i call him? When i first go to the hospital and am told that I am in labor for sure? Or closer to when they say it will be soon? I almost feel like I don't want anyone there, because I don't know how I will act towards this baby when he/she is born, because all of our problems as a couple started during my pregnancy, and I'm still angry(but trying to deal) because of that. What would you do?
