when you go out and about . and the bay needs a bottle and it cold how would you heat it up with out burning the baby mouth ? is there baby warmers out there you can put in the diaper bag ?

I'm sorry. It recently came to my attention that some states are requiring that schools weigh children and send home notes if the child is obese. First thought.. Don't they think you know if your kid is chubby? Second.. if the parent cares won't they be already working on the weight issue, and if they don't care will a note help anything? So, doesn't this just increase the child's discomfort regarding their weight?

When she has already ate and has been changed and I have played with her and sing to her, then when I lay her down she begins to cry and if I leave out of the room where she is at, she starts to cry. When I am around her she is fine though. What is wrong, why does she do this, Does she want me to hold her all the time. By her doing this it is kind of impossible to get anything done unless she is alsleep. Any thoughts or advice. Thanks

He is 9 months old and is a very happy and active baby. He was born six weeks early and has always had problems keeping food down and spitting up to much. He also refuses food at times. I made an extra appointment for him when I noticed these problems and that's when he was taken out of my custody. I am in need of any advice or stories that might help our situation. Thankyou.

I woke up at 2am and since then I've been having irregular contractions that have gained in strength. We've tried walking and resting, but no progress. Because of them being present for so long, I've out ruled them being braxton-hicks contractions. Have you experienced this before?? Is this the first stage of labor?? How do I speed things up?? All the research I've done says its only bad because the color can fade, and it can be a little distorted if its in a place that will stretch. I want one on each of my shoulder blades. My hubby wont let me get it. I was just wondering what you thought.

We just started using NFP. We would like to have kids in a few years, but not right now.

i asked this yesterday but am looking fo r some more input... i am 8 months pregnant could this be anxiety or is something wrong?
I am also feeling a "choked up" sense like i could cry. But this weird nervous butterfly feeling in my chest is very weird. I feel fine mentally it's just physical symptoms. Is this realted to end of pregnancy hormones? like maybe my body is subconsiously nervous about the arrival of baby? Anyone else experience this? Do i call my dr? Thanks!!!

My husband and I agreed that my Mom and Sister would be in the delivery room when I give birth. Now all of the sudden he is saying that he thinks it is unfair that my family gets to be in the room and not his. Should he get to have his family in the room if I don't feel comfortable with it?

Ok. Weird question, but I'm pregnant. My daughter just turned one. I'm not as "regular" as I was before I got pregnant. Sometimes I go number 2 up to 3 times a day. But my kid won't let me. I don't mind if she is in the bathroom with me. Sometimes she's fine. But other times, she tries to crawl up my legs and it's very annoying. So I sit her outside the door with toys and she just screams. For the life of me, I can't go with a screaming child.
What do you do with your babies when you go to the bathroom? Any tricks?

My son is going on 19 months and he doesn't say anything besides eh when he points at everything. I mean he babbles all the time. He used to have a binky in his mouth throughout the day and when we went to his 18 month appt the doc said to take it away from him. So I took it away during the day and just give it to him at night. He used to say mama and dada and doggy all of the time and now he doesn't say anything. He just points and even when we tell him what it is then hand it to him he still doesn't say anything. I am a sahm and talk to him all the time. I tell him what I am doing and tell him what we are going to do and just tell him what things are I read to him everyday and he still doesn't say anything. But he responds to me when I tell him to do something. I can tell him to go get his cup and he will go and get it and bring it back to me. He knows what I am talking about and what i am saying. The doc wants to get a hearing test done.. which I don't understand why if he listens..

DH and I are trying to conceive and we had sex on last Saturday. This was my most fertile day. How soon would I get any symptoms? I have had cramping similar to my regular monthly cramps but no spotting. Is this a symptom? I have my fingers crossed.
