i asked this yesterday but am looking fo r some more input... i am 8 months pregnant could this be anxiety or is something wrong?
I am also feeling a "choked up" sense like i could cry. But this weird nervous butterfly feeling in my chest is very weird. I feel fine mentally it's just physical symptoms. Is this realted to end of pregnancy hormones? like maybe my body is subconsiously nervous about the arrival of baby? Anyone else experience this? Do i call my dr? Thanks!!!

I had the exact same symptoms during the end of both my pregnancy I can not tell you what it is I would just ask the doctor but I don't think that it is something you would have to worry to much about I had asked my doctor but I can't remember what it is he said it was so sorry but just ask you can call and maybe even the nurse can answer.

OMG, I could see a billboard with a kid on it and burst into tears in that last month. Your hormones are berzerk right now. For peace of mind, I'd call the doctor's office. They've heard it all and can ease your mind over the phone. It certainly could be anxiety or excitement though. I mean, you're getting close to meeting that tiny little person who's been growing inside you (and kicking you in the lungs) all this time. What kind of woman also doesn't wonder what their delivery will be like? By the way, your delivery will be totally unique so just take everyone's birth stories with a grain of salt. Good luck! You're almost there! Get as much sleep as you can this month 'cause you're not going to be getting any soon!

There is nothing wrong with you. Your body is trying to cope with the end of pregnancy. The baby is getting very big and is starting to take up a lot of room. Things get smooshed. It is normal for you to feel choked up because while you are pregnant your hormones are going crazy. It is very possible that you are nervous and your body is trying to let you know. Just stay calm and relax. Motherhood doesn't have a book that tells you how to raise a baby. It is something that you learn as time goes on. Just know that when that baby comes you will do just fine and be a great mom. Congrat's and all is well.

Yes. When specially anxious like at a job interview the heart often misses a beat, or tries to beat twice instead of once. (ie butterflies). It does no harm unless it continues for some time. But I'm a bloke and don't know about being pregnant. So, see your medico.

These all sound like emotional feelings. Butterflies and wanting to cry sound like nervous energy relating to a life changing event. I t is normal and healthy to feel nervous about becoming a mom. I promise it will be okay.
Also, the butterfly feelings in your upper stomach could be light movements made by the baby, a stretch, a brush against the wall of your uterus, etc.

Odds are that your organs are being crowded up into that area due to the ever demanding space requirements of your baby. I remember that my stomach would growl up under my ribcage and way off to the left due to the location of my baby. You may simply be feeling bodily functions in a different area.

As far as the crying, welcome to pregnancy. You're probably tired from not sleeping well with your big belly, that coupled with all the feel good, gushy hormones your body floods you with so you will not only want to mother your baby but will NEED to do it, it's no wonder you're a little weepy.

It sounds like your could be having a panic/anxiety attack. When I get these I go sit down and try to concentrate on my breathing. If the pain were to worsen or go down your arm, then I would get worried and either go to the ER or Dr.

If you are truly concerned speak with your doctor. They will not think you crazy for thinking something is wrong. After all it is better to be safe than sorry.

That being said, could it be heartburn? I had that bad when I was pregnant.

Good luck to you.
