I always carried the powdered formula in the bottle. Whne I needed water I just got it from the tap in the temperature that I needed.

You can buy bottle warmers for the car and I want to say I've seen those thermal bottle warmers that you can take in a store, not sure about that though.
I always kept my babies milk at room temperature, made things a lot easier.

You can buy car bottle warmers and if you use regular plastic bottles, they are great. If you use bottles with drop in liners (like me)...they suck. The best thing I've found is to just bring along a thermos of hot water with a cup, or ask for a cup of hot water whereever you are...usually any reastaurant will kindly oblige...
I breast feed, but I pump in advance when we're out and about...so reheating it is an issue.

I think bottle warmers are a waste of money when the water for the formula is room temperature it's fine!

I took a Thermos with me with boiled water in it (one of the wide mouth ones) then just dropped the bottle inside to heat it up to appropriate temperature then closed the lid and used it again. It worked great for me :) Plus it only cost like $10 and fit in my diaper bag hehe. I'm a cheapie.

Plug in car ones do not work - best one we found is made by Thermos and holds hot water and has a giant cup on top like a flask (which it is) - John Lewis used to stock them but a google should find them. Fill cup with water and soak the bottle in it till its hot enough - pour back into flask and you can get 2 shots with it.

Some places have mother's rooms with a micromwave in it. Or you can buy these heat pads that you use the same as an ice pack not sure where to get them though. I always used to just take warm water with me(also helps formula mix better too).

There are warmers that plug into your cigarette lighter.
Another plus for breast feeding.
