Both are important. A clean house shows organization and usually where there is organization you have well behaved kids. I don't mean perfect kids but pretty well behaved. Organization usually means there is routine. Kids need routine and thrive on it. When they know what is expected of them they behave better.

I honestly think both are important but sometimes you can't always have a clean house. I mean mine is tidy most of the time.. but my son is 18 months old and I am 27 weeks pregnant so my house gets cleaned about every other day.. but it doesn't get so bad that i am afraid for someone to come over... just have toys scattered everywhere.. and maybe the dishes are not done... but i would say i am more leaning towards well behaved kids then a clean house.

I think they are both important but I say that if the house is too clean then there is something wrong. It is nice to be clean but there is nothing wrong with a few things out of place. Kids will be kids and they don't always behave. They are human and they can't always be good. Keep up the good work.

Well behaved kids, because if you have a clean house but some bad a-s-s kids, t hen guess what, you won't have a clean house. But those well behaved kids would be helping out cleaning anyways, so it wouldn't be a issue of a dirty or clean house.

I think both are important. I know I cannot function if our home is a mess. I am a very neat person. My kids help me clean(just their rooms and toys). We make a game out of it by turning on music and singing and dancing. I think kids need to be taught to be clean. Time with my kids is MOST important, but I think if you have a messy house you are going to have unruly, messy kids. I think you can give a child something to do like read a few books or let them watch a movie while you clean. I love my kids, but I do not think it is wrong of me to keep my house clean and let them play for an hour without me.
That is just my opinion though.

Well behaved kids? or kids growing up knowing their parent cares. Time spent with your children is the most important. A clean house is important...mine was mostly clean but mainly cluttered :)

As clean as I like my house being, a well behaved child is way more important.

Good question.....actually I believe in both being important because to me a well organized clean house will bring well organized behaved kids...sometimes if there is no certain kind of structure kids will go haywire

Well behaved kids, you can hire someone to clean, nothing replaces teaching your kids the morals and values most important to you and your family.

Well behaved kids. My reasoning is that well behaved kids won't protest too much when it comes time to pitch in to do their chores and because of that it will be easier to keep a tidy house : ).
