For the people who have children or want children - Do you want your child to grow up just like yourself or your spouse?Personality,looks, strenghts, weaknesses,etc.

Would you be happy if your child/children grew up just to be like yourself or your spouse, if not please explain.

I'm 27 weeks pregnant.. And my baby is huge for my built
(I'm quite petite (5"2) and im still a size 28)
I'm exhausted 24/7 dont sleep much have alot of dizzy spells, sciatic nerve problem, restless leg, cramping in the leg - but baby is healthy moves alot..Thank god 4 tht!
I wanna work for atleast another 5 weeks..Till im abt 32 weeks pregnant
Any suggestions..Am i doing right or wrong?

I'm in the uk btw

There is this pill which I heard about – which you take right after you had unsafe sex if you don't want to get pregnant.

1- What is this pill called?
2- Where can I get it from?
3- How long can I take after sex and still have it effective?

i've taken my 3 year old daughter to the doctors twice now and both doctors have said she has an ear infection but the won't give her anti-biotics! this has been going on since last friday and it's getting worse, calpol is not working. what should i do?

Well im only 17 and last month on december my period came on Dec.25or26 im not sure but I was suppose to get it on January 25 again and it didn't happen so that same day I went to the clinic and got on Birthcontrol since then I haven't got my period and it's already Jan.30, im so scare cuz im too young but the nurse and the doctor told me to take another test on my third week of being on birthcontrol but I want to take one now and I dont know what to do help someone if you're so kind please I just feel small cramps and pains in my stomach I wonder what it is and if im pregnant should I keep it?

ugh i just found out today i got a 68 on my biology final exam!! I studied hard for it and i thought i got atleast an a. I might have a D in the class now. I also found out i have a 69 in math which i tried very hard on. When my dad sees the report card hes gonna take my brand new xbox 360 back (that i got for my bday yesterday). My Dad will also smack me across the face. I have like 1 or 2 d's and c's and 1 B and like 1 A. WUT DO I DO!!!

hi ya
actually i want to say that i was breastfeeding my baby and now i dont brestfeed my baby because i m not having milk i just want to now is there any thing can i do to get my milk back? i just left breasfeeding because my breast was sore nipples and and now i want to breastfeed my baby again could you just tell me what should i do i m so worried about it

My son recently turned 3. As far as going to the potty is concerned, he's mastered that art.
Therein lies my problem...
For the past few months, he has taken it upon himself to announce when he has to go to the potty, do his business, and get himself dressed back up. My wife or I usually accompanies him when he has to go #2 however, but for #1, he's more or less on his own.

Here recently on 2 occasions in the past week, he has taken off his pants and went to wizz on the floor. He made a puddle in the kitchen floor one day, his bedroom the next. We asked him why he did it. His reply was, "Because I wanted to."

We addressed the problem by showing him the mess he made, and explained to him that he needs to use the potty instead and made him sit in the corner for a few minutes.
He hasn't done it since and we hope he won't decide to do it again. But if he does, is this something that he is experimenting with, or is it something worse? Has anyone else had this problem??

I am 30 wks pregnant for my third son. I am having a hard time with names this time around, hubby and I cannot agree!!!! But we do both like Ethan but can't come up with a good middle name. Michael, and James are out of the question since they are middle names of our other boys. Thanks for the help.

my bf and i had unprotected sex 9 days after my menstruation started and i took the ECP's 12 hrs after...exactly 10 days after taking the ECP, i began bleeding for a day...it wasn't heavy bleeding but everytime i peed blood would flow...i am expecting my menstruation to start today, but it did not...is this a sign that i am pregnant or what?

My son sleeps through the night and is a dream to have as a first time mum.we have a really close relationship, will another so close destroy this? I was just wondering how other mums have handled similar age gaps? Is it worth it in the long run?

I have been seeing more and more evidence that supports extended breast feeding. I myself nursed my daughter for a full year. However, I've read a bit about it and learned that a child's body is made to ingest and benefit from breast milk for like 3-5 years, and that the worldwide weaning age is acutually much higher than most Americans think is "decent". Since my husband and I want to have more children, and I am a stay at home mom, I have been considering my feeding options for future children. I was thinking about weaning from the breast at a year old like last time, to give myself and baby both a bit more freedom, but continuing to pump my milk for the baby for maybe a year longer so she/he still gets the nutrition and immunities. Has anyone here breast fed for a long time, or done something similar to this? I would LOVE to hear from people who have actually experienced it, rather than just read more studies. Thanks!

the day before yesterday i had this relly intence cramp in my upper abdoman, i know it wasent the baby moving. then yesterday"tuesday" i was driving and had the same feeling 2 times but alot lower, this time it was in my lower abs/ groin....what is going on? they didnt happen close together more like an hour appart. but still im thinking bh contractions...but im clueless seeing as this is my first pregnancy...im currently 35 weeks

a friend of mine ask me why i was still up one night & i told him because my daughter was sick & usually my husband is up with me when our daughter is sick most of the time unless he has to work and then i keep it to where he can try to get him sleep since im a stay at home mom because he works long hours. anyways my friends seem like with his kids his wife did all the work when his kids is sick i guess that why they are not together anymore plus he lazy and cant keep a job.

I'm living in China and I would really like to get some kind of baby class before I have the baby but they don't seem to have any here. I have no idea how to feed/ diaper/ bathe/ hold/ carry...well let's just say I know jack about babies...AND I'm more than 6 months pregnant. I spent 10 years in the Army and none of my friends or family have had small children...since then I have been living in China. My family is still in America so that makes them helping out kind of hard. Any suggestions?
