It is possible to get spotting similar to your period while you are pregnant. I have heard of this happening to many woman. Birth control would not cause this, in fact if you took birth control while you were pregnant it would terminate the pregnancy. Thats really all the "morning after pill" is, its a high level of birth control.

You could get some withdrawal bleeding when you got to the sugar pills. I did. But there's also the chance that you wouldn't since the way pills work is by giving your body pregnancy hormones so it won't ovulate...when you take the pills that make your period come on, they're just sugar pills, but if your body has its own pregnancy hormones, there may be no change and therefore no bleeding when you got to the sugar pills. You'd really just have to wait till a couple days before your period and test, because different women could experience different things in this situation. Good luck!

No, you would not. The reason you get a period when you are on the pill is because you stop taking it and your hormone levels drop, which causes you to bleed.
When you are pregnant, your hormone levels are higher than normal. This over-rides the drop in hormones you get when you stop taking the pill. So you would not bleed.

Nope. You would miss that first period and that would give you a great indication that you were pregnant. My best friend was on birth control when she got pregnant, so it was a major red flag when she missed her period.

hypothetical question for u: when is the only time that it is impossible to get pregnant?

answer: when you already are.

what makes "the pill" work in the first place is that it confuses. your body into thinking that you are ALREADY pregnant. obviously you wont be but your body doesnt know that so it cannot fertilize another egg when it thinks it' already has one in the oven, same for periods.

nope you will not get your period, trust me it happened to me twice. and the pills you take before you find out you are pregnant won't hurt your baby either.
