Yes. My newborn son drinks 3 oz every 3-4 hours.

Multiply your baby's weight times 2.5 ounces
If your baby isn't eating any solids (as he shouldn't before 4 to 6 months of age), the general rule of thumb is to offer him 2.5 ounces of formula per pound of body weight each day. So if your baby weighs 6 pounds, you'll give him about 15 ounces of formula in a 24-hour period. If he weighs 10 pounds, he should drink 25 ounces in a 24-hour period

I have a couple of questions. Is the baby sleeping normal? A baby sleeps a majority of the first couple months. If yes and this is just what she is eating between her naps it is perfectly normal. Another question is , is she crying allot and you are just giving her the bottle to make her be quiet. If no then you are doing just fine. If yes then you may be giving her a little much and she may have a tummy ache. Then you need some gas drops for infants and a pacifier... The sucking motion is very calming to a baby. Hope this helps.. take care

as long as she has at least 6-8 wet and 2 poopy diapers a day she is getting just what she needs but if shes sick she would have less or more then that you'll know when she is getting enough there are signs that tell you shes hungry. both links will tell you about how much a day and the second link tells you how many wet diapers a day they should have if there getting enough.

If she is eating 2-3 ounces every 3 hrs or so, then that is perfectly normal.

that's normal. it's just prove's that the baby has a good appetite. but remember, way too much formula can cause a tummy ache.
