Sounds like BH to me. How's it feel knowing that for the rest of your life, you'll be known as "mother"?

IT is your muscles stretching and the baby getting down in position! Also Braxton Hicks.. I would occasionally have cramping like that and it was just my muscles and stuff stretching and braxton hicks! If it gets too painful to handle then just go in to hospital and let them check you out! Hospitals get false labor all the time so do not worry about being a bug or something if you need to call or go in! The get iot alot and they can give you suggestions of what to do for whatever you are feeling!! GOOD LUCK

Yes it is possible if the stomach sustained enough trauma. It would have to be very strong though because the baby is protected by amniotic fluid and is inside the stomach (obviously). Many women have fallen in the final trimester and their baby has been ok due to the cushioning. Car accidents are also a contributor in causes of death to unborn babies but every case is different. If you werew to sustain trauma to your belly you would go straight to emergency and have your baby monitored. After 20 weeks the baby is considered a stillborn if it dies- not longer a miscarriage. The baby would have to be delivered and that means the woman would have to go through labour.

sounds like contractions. BH or not I don't know. Your abdomen is constantly adjusting to your baby's new shape, especially toward the end. As long as there's no fluid or blood I wouldn't worry too much...just get excited. Your baby's almost here!

I just had a baby 9 months ago... I can assure you that you are fine... BUT you still want to let you doctor know what you are feeling .... give them a call A.S.A.P. It is very possible that they are Braxton hicks..Still make sure it is nothing serious. I hope that this helps you... CONGRATS & GOOD LUCK~!~!~!

could be braxton hicks, but they tend to be less painful and more of a tight feeling in around your stomach. the pain in your ribs is probably your babies feet. my baby got her foot stuck up in my ribs while i was trying to push her out. it was very painful and hard for me to push that way. thank God she came fast.

To me it sounds like your baby's head is engaging, i had really bad pains, deep down in my abdomen when me baby's head was engaging, right up until he was born.

those are "fake" contractions. It's just body "practicing" for the real thing, nothing to worry about until they become regular.

Sounds to me like braxton hicks....get worried if they get close together and are persistent.
