Hey, I know you may be stressed out about this but the best thing to do is to listen to your doctors and nurses as they do know best. Often times birth control can cause cramping, spotting, and a delay of your cycle, so just wait it out. There really isn't anything you can do right now. As far as your choices if you are pregnant, it is best to talk it over with you parents or a trusted older family member. Make sure you take time in making this kind of decision. Also, talk to your sexual partner about what is going on with you, it is important that they are aware of the situation. If you feel you have no one to talk to, find a guidance counselor, or stop by planned parenthood. Even though you may feel alone or misunderstood there are plenty of people around who are willing to listen without passing judgment and are able to give you advice on what may be best for you. I wish you the best.

It's also possible that you simply skipped a period. To put you on birthcontrol they generally give you a pregnancy test; was that one negative? And if it was is another reason you're scared b/c you have had sex since you got on the birth control? The pills take roughly 2 weeks to become effective and are more dependable if you take them everyday at the same time. The doctor's know what they're talking about unfortunately and you will probably have to wait the 3 weeks unless you haven't had sex since late december or early January. In that case you should be able to tell in a week or so. Cramps don't mean you're pregnant those are usually signs of a miscarriage actually. It could also mean you're about to get your period or could mean there's an egg dropping, or possibly be a reaction to the birth control. I wouldn't worry about them unless they're causing you severe pain and you never get cramps on a normal period.
I was pregnant when I was 17 and I took five pregnancy tests before I accepted it and told my parents and my bf. It is a personal decision you have to make on whether or not you can live with yourself and the not knowing if you either have an abortion or give the baby up for adoption. I knew that either would destroy me and I truly believed (and have so far) that I could be a great mother to them and could adequetly care for them. I also had great family support too. I knew my mom would let me live with her as long as I needed and that I would be able to finish highschool and even do college this way. My daughter has been one of the greatest blessings to me, but that is only my personal experience. I do not believe in abortion, but if you are not ready to give yourself wholly to this child and believe you can give them a good life then adoption is a wonderful option.

You are so young but many young teens get pregnant and get through, keep a strong conscience. I will give you some helpful advice. Remember, you're here for help, I seek that brave and don't let people insult you, ignore those ones. You probably already feel guilt and shame. So, first of all no one can make this HUGE desicion but you. You are aminor, really don't keep this from your mom, even though she'll be angry or even resentful, she will support and help you with advice. Listen, it does not hurt to keep retesting. It is your body, your health. Take a test now, it could show the results. Then also take the test the third week. If anything about keeping your baby, talk to your most comfortable parent, I'm assuming mom , if you are pregnant, it can help, and you'll feel a big releif. If anything you should be a smart girl and brainstorm pros and cons. Can I afford this child on my own? Am I prepared to be a single mom? Will I be prepaed for true remorse after the harsh and painful procedure of an abortion? What about adoption? Good luck sweetie. It doesn't matter whether I'm pro life or pro choice this is your life and your decsion, remember that, no matter who tells you anything. Mom, dad, your boyfriend. Your desicion. I was very scared to once of my pregnancy, even though I was much older and had a strong partner, and a good job. I decided life. My fiancee and I will be having my daughter next week and so excited and anxious. I commend you on trying to get help and being a young lady.

First off, pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex, you have every right to have and enjoy sex without worrying about getting pregnant. It's important that whatever happens with this baby, that you get on a reliable form of birth control so you don't worry about this in the future. And don't believe what they say about only abstinance working. Birth control pills are over 99% effective if used correctly. You have many choices now, to keep the baby, adopt out the baby, or abort the baby, but either way, it's YOUR choice and don't let people pressure you one way or another. Think about how you feel about the baby, and the baby's father and talk to people you trust about what you want to do. If you *are* pregnant and you want to adopt out the baby, my wife and I are looking to adopt. . . .

hon, if you think you might be pregnant you should NOT be on the pill!
the pill makes your body think it's already pregnant which is why you don't start your period until you get to the end of the package. if your on the pill and on the actual pill not the white or yellow ones at the end of the package..then you won't HAVE a period.
stop taking the pill, and get a pregnancy test ASAP.

you started on birth control and you have messed up your periods, you wont have a period till you take the other color pill the 4th week you will feel cramps because you took the pills too soon and your monthly blood is all hung up . no you shouldnt be pregnant, but if you are you should not keep it, a child will ruin your life at this age. you need to finish school and grow up.

You've admitted you're too young to be pregnant.
So why you having sex? Play the grown-up game.... pay the piper.
Sorry for your situation. But, if you are not pregnant... let this be a lesson.
