How long did you bleed after giving birth?

About two weeks... it was the same after both my kids. Some people I know bleed for almost a month!!!! It's like payback for not having periods for 9 months, lol.

After boths vaginal births i bleed for 6 weeks heavily & another 4 weeks after that just like a period. After a ceasarian i bleed lightly for 2 weeks then it stopped.

I bled heavily for a few days (I was clearly shedding the lining of the uterus as well); after that, I probably continued to bleed at least a little for a couple of weeks, although it tapered off to very little blood very quickly. Everybody is different, of course; if you feel you've been bleeding too much or for too long, you should definitely consult your doctor.

I bled for about 6 - 7 weeks with my 3 kids. Fairly heavy for about 5 days then just moderate to light bleeding for the remainder. Just enough to be annoying!!!

Not every woman are the same,maybe others have different experience but I bleed up two to three weeks time only,after that heavy flow, only spots until it finally stop.

It was about 3 weeks. Everyone is different though. Some people less than a week and some for several weeks. It varies.
