I am not sure that I am pregnant...but I do kick boxing every Thursday, would it be okay for me to do it if I am pregnant or should I quit till I know for sure?

I just found out we are going to have a baby and scheduled my first appointment with the OB/GYN for the 27th of February. She said I should be 8 weeks by then. I have no idea what to expect! This is my first pregnancy and I don't know the usual procedures. She said the first half hour will be spent with the nurse going over basic info then the next hour is an exam. What do they do in that exam? We are very excited but I'm a little nervous too...

our sweet daughter is 19 months old and shows very little interest in talking...she says mama and not much more..her doctor was concerned maybe a tongue flap but a specialist nixed that..not really too concerned i guess, just looking for input..

The right side of my body is cold from the middle of my back to my knee. It feels like my bones are ice packs. I'm assuming I have a pinched nerve or bad circulation, but am curious if anyone else had this while pregnant. If so, what did you do to alleviate it?

she is really bitchy and she hates me.....anywho everytime we go in the class room she gets mad if we slam the books on the desk we alll hate her so now we try to slam it really hard so she goes crazy and we loose class time. she is always in a bad mood. she starts yellin at us if we close our books and get ready to leave when the bell rings. well hell-o its time to leave! she always adds minutes and makes us late to homeroom!

He was a FABULOUS sleeper for 3 years, and now-- nothing. we've tried a later bedtime, shorter nap, no nap, earlier nap, later nap. The main issue seems to be getting him used to going back to his bed after he wakes up, but he's just SO resistent to the idea, and at 3am who wants to argue with a 3-year-old?

As an alternate to abortion, if they have a friend that is willing to take the baby? Maybe kind of like a permanent babysitter? or is this totally illegal? I mean, it's the mom's choice (if she unmarried, parent's choice if a married couple decide to do so?)

I am 6 months pregnant and I have a sexual dream at least 4 times a week. This has been going on for about the past 3 weeks. My husband and I split about 2 months ago........Is it just because i am not having sex and I am missing it or what? Is it hormonal from the pregnancy? What the heck is going on with me? Seems like I read an article about Africa and that there was a bunch of orphanages because of AIDS. That seems so sad that a child would have to grow up with out parents and a family.
Why don't they let more people adopt orphans? Even in the USA Children shouldn't have to grow up alone.

For months my mom and I have been planning for me to stay at her house right after my baby is born. My husband and I seem to have miscommunicated because he doesn't want to stay there at all and he seems to have no knowledge of me ever talking about it. We are currently living with his mom (which is horrible). So, now I have to tell her that we won't be staying with her and I'm not quite sure how to.

I am two weeks late for my period, I have very regular periods...So I took two home tests, the first one was negative, the second one, I couldn't tell, the second line was there, but just barely, then I went to have a blood test done today and it as negative. Is it possible to still be pregnant?

My husband and I have been trying to concieve, and my period should be here on Feb. 5. This morning I started spotting... at least I think thats whats going on. I have been told by the OB GYN that i have hysterosalpingography done to check for uterine abnormalities. This is the procedure where they insert a catheder into the uterine cavity through the cervix and inject dye to see if there are any abnormalities in the uterus and fallopian tubes. Was wanting to know from someone who has been through it if it is painful.

My mom is pregnant again and for the last time..... we all have k names. Katrina, Kalin, Keagen.......she wants to stick with that. If it is a girl the name will be Kaydence and if it is a boy it will be Karson. The middle names deal with family names....if it is a girl it will end in "elle". My mom's is Michelle, im Nielle and my aunt is Noelle...soooo......if it is a giril it will either be Ann-linelle or Lannelle. If it is a boy it will be part of my granpas last name....Owen.
