Turn on the television and watch any of the 90 crime shows. At least one of them with have a court scene, where the lawyer is appealing to the jury. That's a persuasive speech.

Many great leaders of our time made some excellent persuading speeches. The many speeches Churchill, Kennedy, and Roosevelt are fine examples.

Persuading people that day care is bad for infants is a good one.
Or, do you mean a famous speech that already happened? MLK's I Have A Dream Speech is a good one. Rocked the world.
