My problem is very complecated and please only competent answers,not scams.I have this friend(J)-widower with an 11yo daughter(R).This year R doesn't go to school because she is pregnant(now in 5th month).When I heard that I was like "WHAT?!How can R be pregnant!She's 11 a baby herself,where were you,what happened?!"And I heard that 2 weeks ago.After the shock I really tried to find out what happened.It turned out that when R misbehaves instead of spanking or time-out,J rapes her horribly(she described me how).That has been lasting already 2 years!She is scared and very ashamed of that and even though she is pregnant,she is still being raped when misbehaving.J locks her at home and there is no how she can run(I looked and didn't find a way).I'm planning on taking her out and going to the police and I need really helpful advice on how to avoid J understand what happened and just be arrested.Every advice is welcome.I have a way to unlock the door and just want to help the poor child.

I dont believe in lies at all. So why am I now lying to my 5 year old daughter? She is a very fussy eater, and it makes mealtimes very difficult. She will only eat Aunt Bessies Roast potatoes, so the other day, i did mashed potatoes and told her aunt bessie had made it. She ate it.

She also hates vegetables except for carrots. I did a stew and put swede in - i told her they were white carrots, and she ate them.

She loves noodles, but wont touch pasta, so i made some pasta and told her it was different shaped noodles, and she ate them.

Lying to her is making her eat different foods, and my mealtimes are a lot less stressful, but i feel terrible about lying to her. Am i doing the right thing or not? Will she ever forgive me, or will she never trust me again, and lose respect for me? I know she is only 5 years old, but kids are amazing what they remember.

About two weeks ago by daughter started to fall asleep on her own for about 2-3 nights... all of a sudden she needs to put to sleep again and as soon as she is put in her crib she wakes... if i put my hand on her face or hold her hand she stops crying and looks like she falls asleep again... as soon as I take my hand away she starts crying again... I don't know what is going on but she is getting worse everyday...also when she does fall asleep sometimes within the hour she'll be making noises and will wake up or if we're lucky (rarely) fall back asleep by giving her her paci...i feel she is not getting a good night's sleep because even when she sleeps a couple of hours there is always noises and movement from her... oh by the way she does not nap well during the day either... she might take 2-3 naps (3 is pushing it jejeje) but each no longer than half an hour...

I want to stay on it until about August and then stop taking it. I am getting married in September and we are going to start trying again after the wedding. Who has used this form of birth control before and how soon after you stopped taking it did you become pregnant. I know that everyone is different I am just wondering so I can get a basic idea. Also I wanted to try the Ortho Evra patch because I am not very good at remembering to take the pill at the same time everyday ( any suggestions on this as well to help me remember ) so I told my doc I would like to try the patch she told me to try one month of the pill and come back and we would discuss the patch. I don't understand why she just wouldn't put me on the patch especially since I told her I am not good at remembering the pill. So here are my questions
Who has used this pill before and how soon after coming off of it did you become pregnant?
How can I remember to take the pill better?

I am 37 weeks.Last week at my appt. when I was 36 weeks I measures 37 weeks.I have been measuring a weeks bigger everytime.But yesterday at my appt. when I am supposed to measure 37 weeks, I measured 35 weeks! I think that is very weird.All the doctor really said about that is "Maybe it's because the baby is moving down" I went for a non stress test because the baby also hasn't been moving that much.Everything came out okay I guess. It took about an hour or so to get the baby to wake up.I have to go back Monday for another stress test. I am just wondering if anyone else out there has been through this.?. I don't know if I should be concerned. My doctor isn't REALLY concerned.Please any advice or feedback would be great....Thanks so much..........

I have been ttc with my husband since the end of November. I had a period the beginning of DEC after I went off of the pill. I haven't had a period since. I had ovulation cervical fluid on the 6th and we have been having sex every day or 2 days. Anyways, I took a test last week and it was negative. I took another this morning first urine and it came up not pregnant on the digital test. But when I took the test strip out, I could see a second line. It wasn't bright blue like the second line, but I could see it. My question is, was that just a shadow that would have turned blue if the hormone was detected or was it a faint positive? Serious answers only please! Thanks :)

i took a test about a week an a half ago

at a clinic and it said i was pregnant
but i got my period today? is this posible

I have read so many questions and answers on here stating that spanking is child abuse (which if done correctly it isn't) the same way as beating your spouse is domestic abuse. I feel this comparison is almost laughable. Aren't we as parents suppose to treat our children differently than our spouses? Aren't we suppose to teach them respect and teach them responsibility? I don't know about everyone else but I married a mature adult, not a toddler with an undeveloped brain.

So lets hear it people, when was the last time you had to put your spouse in a time out? When was the last time you had to take your spouses' toys away for bad behavior?

I am going for my 20 week U/S to an offsite facility. My dr wont be there but an US tech will be doing my U/S. Are the techs trained in different fields? I have only been for US for problems before pregnancy (cysts) and the resuts have to be sent back to my dr. Will the tech be able to identify problems and tell me with certainty how my baby is doing?

Any guesses? Experience? I have an incompetent cervix and have gone from 1 cm to 2 in a week, and no clue what to expect next. I will be 35 weeks on Saturday and my ob says my baby will be in good shape if she comes early. I am still on bedrest and trying to make it as far as I can - I am in no hurry!

I am 22 weeks and we just had lunch catered in and I ate a portabello mushroom sandhwich with what I hope was cream cheese on it, but it may have been another soft cheese. i have a problem. my daughter is 2 years old. and she still will not let my husband leave the room until she is asleep. she likes daddy to put her to bed. the past 2 nights he will read to her and then tell her a story and then tell her "ok, time to go night night" and then leave the room. she will then come out of the room laughing and talking so, my hubby will keep putting her back in the room. after like, the 5th time of this happening, he'll get upset and swat her on the butt. but, she'll keep coming out. then, i will go in the room and try to put her to sleep, but, she will scream and say she wants her daddy to put her to sleep. i know it hasn't been a while trying to put her to sleep by herself, only 2 nights, but there has got to be an easier way! do any of ya'll know any ideas?
