can you be pregnant and still get your period?

i took a test about a week an a half ago
it said i was pregnant, i took one about 3 days ago
at a clinic and it said i was pregnant
but i got my period today? is this posible
im going to the doctors monday for prenantal
but this is wierd, i dont know what to do

1. Some will tell you it is implantation bleeding. This is not possible. If your body is already making pg hormone, the egg would have implanted already.
2. Very likely, you miscarried. Remember, a pg test will show positive for weeks after a miscarriage.
3. No, you cannot be pregnant and get your period. I don't know how this gets started. A period is the shedding of the uterine lining -- the lining that the egg needs in order to survive. If you are shedding that lining, the egg has no where to implant, and you cannot be pregnant.

Yes you can still get your period for a few months maybe 2 or 3 of being pregnant. It's normal but not particularly healthy; you are pregnant still call your GYN
