I had to get blood work to see if I am pg. The lady taking my blood told me it takes 5-7 days to get the results.

I thought they could have them back in like a day.
How long did anyone elses take?

I know that you are supposed to wait to take the pregnancy test until the 1st day of your missed peroid for the most accurate of results. However, I guess I was wondering that if you were to take it sooner would it be accurate or not? I suppose I am just anxious to find out. I have done research on the subject but my mind is a bit jumbled from everything I have read. I would LOVE some input.

Also, what pregnancy test do you personally think, having done your research and all, is the best? Thanks :-)

I am 34 weeks pregnant, and I have horrible pelvic pain. Im assuming that my pelvis is stretching out to get ready for the baby to come, but I cant sleep. I have tries Benadryl, and it does nothing, can ANYONE please suggest something else I can either take oo do to help me sleep. Im desperate and I need the sleep. Thanks

I have taken two EPT tests and both came out positive, but when I went to our local pregnancy center, to have one taken it came out negative. The lady said that it may be too early to get a good reading, but why would the EPT tests say positive?

My four year old son plays with his one year old brother, but also head butts him, trips him, jumps on him, etc. How do I get him to realize that it is not acceptable. I've tried time outs, talking to him, one on one. Nothing seems to work.

I am almost 24 years old and married and we have a baby girl who turns a year old next month. I have an appointment for tomorrow to get the Mirena IUD. I am scared and nervous of getting it, but I know I always forget to take birth control pills and I do not want to get the Depo Shot. I am still breastfeeding my daughter. Does anyone have any advice to give me about getting the Mirena? Have you had any problems with it? Are you happy with it? PLEASE HELP!!!!

He's almost 14 months old. He refuses to lean back (seems scared), and doesn't like it when I cover his eyes to take the shampoo out. I have one of those pitchers that goes against the head, but it won't work well since he won't lean back. He cries out of fear/discomfort if water goes in his eyes! What do I do? My son Kyle was born and died on the Jan 13th after only four hours of life.
I was only six and a half months pregnant and I never even got to hold him while he was alive.
There is nobody here to grieve with me.
My ex boyfriend and Kyle's father went to sleep after hearing I was having a C section. We had broken up before I knew I was pregnant.
The few freinds I have are avoiding seeing me in person. My ex husband took the time I was in the hospital to try to have my two sons taken away and I have a court date next month.
I feel so alone and dispised.

The other day my neighbor was drinking and said she wished her children were dead !!!! I was totally shocked she has 2 small girls under the age of 6 and someone has already called them on her is this a form of abuse and should I call and tell them what she said ? I was just reading some answers and one person had a baby at five years old and another said six. I find this very hard to believe becuse I may be young and curoiouse but I am not stupid. I know the requirment for a girl to become pregnate and I highly dougbt a five year old would have a mature enough body to even concive please someone seriouse and someone who will not make fun of me correct me or confirm my theory!

I am expecting another baby and not sure where or not I should let my daughter be in the room. There will be plenty of people there to keep an eye on her so that isn't an issue. I don't know how she might react to seeing it all happen or her reaction to what the baby will look like when it is born.
