Why is it so embarrassing to admit that? I see nothing wrong in it if you and the man is comfortable in doing so but why act like you have never done that when you proably have? (I have and i do not care what people thinks about me or that)

Today, I went to the dr. and she checked my cervix for the first time (those exams are so uncomfortable!!) and I am 3 cms and 70% effaced. She told me that she still doesn't think I will have the baby for another week or so, but she could be wrong. She said with first time moms it is normal for them to be later than the due date, but at the same time she said I was the only patient that she saw today, that was more than 1 cm dilated with their first baby.

What do you think? Do you think I'll have it some time soon?

I know it depends on the baby and the person, but isn't 3 cms a lot for a first exam? I just hit 39 weeks today. I really want to have the baby before the end of January, and I think I will have her this week or beginning of next, but I haven't been getting any contractions. The only thing I get that I can feel, a little pains in my canal that feel like slight pressure, and every now and then a pinch of pain. And it lasts for about 10-20 secs and goes away.

yea i was just wondering if it was normal for a kid that just turned 15 in december to wear a 20 in pants and weight like 105 -110? is there any way to make this better? also he is 5"4.. is this alright? he already has gone through some puberty.. he has some hair on the armpits and some hair down bottom if you know what i mean and already masturbating. is there still time to grow or is it to late? can anybody help me out?

I have a 9 year old daughter. Yesterday, I walked on her touching herself on the livingroom. It wasn't the first time. I have told her before this is something she should do in private, and she doesn't listen. What should I do? Isn't she too young for this anyway?

There's a guy I work with and when I walk by he always looks but if I look at him he looks away and same goes at break time. I kinda like him but he is so confusing. One day he'll say, so when we goin out and then I say don't know and then he acts all hard to get. There has been a lot of hype about benadryl and babies due to benadryl overdose deaths. Everything I read says never to give Benadryl (or any antihistimine) to a baby under 1. A recent study shows that it is dangerous because antihistimines don't work in babies so you can't tell when you've overdosed until its too late (http://www.consumerreports.org/mg/free-highlights/manage-your-health/benadryl_babies_sleep.htm). But doctors and nurses I've talked to have different opinions. Some say its ok, some say absolutely not. What do you guys say?

it may be her body... but it takes two to tango. unless a woman can prove that the father is a danger and she isnt with him, or that he wants nothing to do with her, why doesnt the dad have the right to make the decision on wether or not to abort too? my brother's wife aborted her baby against his will, then 3 months later got prego again and kept it. he was heartbroken and it makes no sense that 3 months later she was suddenly "ok" with having a baby, when she had just killed her last one (there were no complications) WHY WHY WHY isnt this an issue?!

I saw another Mom had posted a similar question and it surprisingly did not get much response.I would have thought there would have been a lot since spanking itself is so controversial.

I am primarily interested in the thoughts of those parent who believe in spanking. But of course, anyone is free to speak up and they do.

At one time this was not that unusual of a way to spank at all. I think it is much less so now. I want to know whether you think it works better than an over clothing spanking, makes no difference, is safer, less safe, is too humiliating, is appropriate, totally inapproriate, totally disgusting--whatever.

I will give my thoughts later.

I know that you can not drink wine while pregnant, but while I was over my brother in laws house for dinner, they made steak. After I ate dinner, I asked what they marinated the steak in because I thought it was good. They told me they marinated it in a few things, but one of them was red wine!! I am two months pregnant, and this is my first. Is this a really bad thing, or do you think the wine was cooked off? I ate about five pieces of sliced steak. And please no mean answers, this is a real question, I am just trying to make sure I am doing everything right.

My baby has been seen by a doctor within the last 24 hours, in which the quack said she was just teathing....even though she didn't act this way when her last four teeth came in! I called her pediatrician this morning and told that doctor everything that was going on with my baby and she said it was a norovirus that is going around, and to monitor her and let it take its course. Since then my babies diapers have become water and she hasn't had a wet diaper in about 10 hours. I just now realized that I haven't changed her diaper since before I started preparing supper a good ten hours ago. I laid her down to change her and her diaper is dry! She does have tears and her mouth is wet, though. She is 12 months old. How long should I wait before calling her pediatrician again? She's nursing plenty, she must be dehydrating because her stools are so watery or something!!! Help!!!

well she is preganet, she went to the doctor but they said the didn't hear a heartbeat but her dad said that the baby is moving. they estimated that she is only 10 weeks. i really want to know how far along she is because she is showing and the baby is moving in her and she is gaining weight. everyone says she is 4-5 months but the doctor said only 10 weeks, i just can't figure out why they couldn't find a heartbeat.

Ive been "seeing" this girl for four months now. Were not dating, were just hooking up alot. I have a four year old son, hes mom left us right after he was born. This girl know that were not or never will be more than what we are now and were both ok with that. Well lately my son has been asking for her all the time. Shes so nice to him and she really cares about him alot, i honestly think she even loves him. Everything was fine until 3 days ago when he called her mommy, right away he corrected himself and said i mean ashley but its scaring me, hes so attached to her and i know its not going anywhere. Back in September this lady called about me babysitting her 2 boys. I was to keep her 6month old and almost 3 year old M-F from 6am - 6pm for a week b/c her husband was going to be out of town for that week. One week turned to two, two turned into four weeks. So then she decided she needs me every week only on Thursdays and Fridays 6am-6pm so I told her I'd email her the contract. This was at the beginning of November. Exactly 2 weeks ago on a Wed night she calls and says "don't get up early tomorrow b/c one of my kids is sick and husband will take care of them this week. And on the 26th of January one kid has a doc appt so I won't bring them either." Last Wed evening I called and left a voicemail that I had to be somewhere at 6pm the next day on Thursday so plz try to pick your kids up at 5:30pm that day. She never called back. So LAST Thursday I roll out of bed at 5:45am assuming she would be coming that Thursday and Friday (did I mention I'm 33 weeks pregnant??...
