As a current or future parent, how would you react if your child or children tried out for American Idol when you specifically asked them not to try out for the show? Also, how would you react if your child or children skipped school in order to try out for American Idol without your permission as well?

We love the name Carmen, but we are stuck on the middle name. We also can't decide how to spell Carmen. Our options are Carmen (traditional), Carmine, or Karmen. What do you think?

I have wanted a MySpace since I was in 5th grade,when it was first popular and everyone had one. My mom told me that i could not have one, and I followed her comand as to not getting one. But now, I am in 7th grade and I feel more mature. I am smart and ahead of my game. If I was the first kid my age that you met, and you met another kid my age you would not be able to tell that they were my age. You would think they were a tall young kid. Anywho, Now I feel that I should be able to get a MySpace. I asked my mom again but she wants to give it more thought. She said that she knows Im not stupid and she trust me. all I want it for is to communicate with my friends and work on my page and add new features and fun stuff. Im not gonna talk to anyone I dont know!
I want to know how do I get my parents to budge
What other good stuff can I tell them! I've tried everything I can think of (without lying)!
and if you dont think I should get a MySpace, then please ell me why?!

i wipe off the tears that run down this face shackin in my seat as they listen for a heart beat. i close my eyes and start to wonder why your leaving us like this. i was the bad one. i never listene. i left the messes and never bothered to help. let me tell you listenin to the doctor say that your not gonna make it made me think of all the things i never did for you, oh daddy you can make it through oh daddy please please try. i dont want to see mommy cry. daddy daddy please try.

i used a vicks pacifer thermometer on my 4 year old daughter (because i could not find the regular thermometer) and it came out 38.7 degrees celcus and i dont know if thats high or normal or what? can someone let me know please because i cant find the information sheet and couldnt find anything online. thanks

I have this neighbor, who when she found i was pregnant became really jealous. She already has 5 kids ages 6-16 ,neither her or her husband have a job, and right after she found out i became prego, she hurried off to a sperm bank, and dr, to see about getting artificial insimination.... I think its crazy.....After a while she wouldnt even talk to me anymore because she was so mad that she was not pregnant and I was.
The thing i don't understand is that her hubby is clipped, why would she be so upset.?Its not like its my fault.

me and my fiance have been trying to have a baby for the last few months. i got one quick question. we had sex the 12-14th of this month. i found out about mymonthly.com after words n i found out i ovulate on the 22nd. i also heard sperm can survive inside a women for 3-7 days depending on how acidy she is. lets say we had sex the 14th. 3-7 days from then i would ovulate. can the sperm surivive inside even if theres no egg? if it was still inside when the egg dropped or before could i have gotten pregnant? because im having alot of cramps discharge and headaches. my next period will be on the 9th of february so im thinking its not my period. thanks so much - Kayla

my lil girl has just turned 2, and is showing signs of readiness, ie she takes her nappy off when it is soiled or wet, i have tried gently introducing the potty, she wil sit on it for a few minutes get up and pee on the floor, how do i get her to pee and poo in the potty? i have tried star charts, bribery etc but she just wont do it!! she s always been a lazy child, and done things later than anticipated (from about 6 months old), is it that she is just lazy?

Well I have experienced light pink spotting when I wipe, that lasted 3days. It started early. I usually see it around the 11th but it came on on the 1st. And thats not normal for me. I my cycle never did that. I have took several test and 3 came up to be a very faint positive. Still no period yet. I have been having symptoms of stomach pains, cramps and sometimes feel like it is in my butt and they are very sharp. Bachaches and some headaches. Can anyone give me there personal experience before I go to the doctor. Can it be a coinsident or is it just me?!

Hey everyone.
I need some help with a bully problem.
So theres this guy at my school who is horrible to me. Just today I finished my work early in class so I went to sit in the big chair in the back of the room and hes like "get out here you fat cow" then hes like "moooo-ve" and he doesnt stop. then he and this other guy start ganging up on me saying "mooooo-ve". then my friend who sits by them said something about me sitting next to her. and the first guy said "I cant be near that faw cow. she's so big she takes up all the chair."
I try to ignore him but it doesnt work! Please help.
Ps:I'm actually not fat, I'm normal sized. And he's ruining my self-esteen.
