Who has taken a hpt a week before their period and got a negative result and then taken a hpt the day their period is due and got a positive result?

I have once then last time I could not get a positive with a reg test, and the only thing that would work is the digital tests...

Pregnancy tests come out negative if there isn't enough of the pregnancy hormone showing up in the urine. Iit usually takes a bit of time after conception for it to build up and be able to change the chemical on the test strip. That's why there is never a false positive test. Only tests done too early that say false when the person really is pregnant. And they say false because not enough of that hormone is present yet.

I didn't get a positive result until about 10 days later or so.

maybe you took the test too early
many women have gotten that
I was showing negative 2 days before my period and + the night I was suppose to have my P
