Why is it so embarrassing to admit that? I see nothing wrong in it if you and the man is comfortable in doing so but why act like you have never done that when you proably have? (I have and i do not care what people thinks about me or that)

I never understood this either. I have and it was GREAT. I think they are embarrassed because sex is dirty without being on your period.. but I don't know for sure. That is just a guess.

Speaking from personal experience, when I first did I didn't know you could, and so it was embarrassing because in that instance you don't suspect anyone else to do so. It felt moreso at the time that it was just the pressure and unique need of my significant other. But now of course, as other women come to mention its a common practice, its not as unusual as it once seemed. Also, you have to take into account that some people are just extremely private. They are no more interested in telling you about having sex during menstration than they are saying they regularly perform oral sex while their husbands drive or try anal. Its a personal preference of their privacy.

I am happy that you started this conversation. Most of the women I think who do this have been with their partners for a while or are older. What most people don't realize is that the US is really behind the times from other countries. Sex is not nasty. It is a beautiful act. In some countries, this is so very common and openly known...that no shock factor occurs.

Hehe this makes me laugh, because you know there are so many that wont admit it.. There are alot of women who really do not do it and have never triend it.. But I have and i liked it the first few times, but after that it just hurt and i don't like it anymore.. So i havent done it in a while.. It did always make me feel dirty, because thats supposed to be your body's way of CLEANING i guess.. But hey it's a free choice right :) Whatever floats your boat.. It's NO WORSE THAN ANAL SEX, you know....

It doesn't bother MY husband. A girl's period isn't anything nasty... so many people focus on the negatives about it. It's a beautiful thing that women should be proud to have. :) As long as you keep yourself clean, there's nothing wrong with sex during your period.

My husband and I have no problem with it. He said that he didnt mind, so as long as he's not grossed out, why should I care? We typically dont do it on the first couple days because I have a really heavy flow, and on those days its also really hard for me to orgasm. But other than that, no biggie.

Some women honestly don't have sex when they are on their period. I never have and I never will. I cramp so bad that I don't want anything male related near me during my time of the month.

I'd say because some people are just generally not comfortable discussing their sex lives.

well maybe they really haven't. not every woman has a man that is willing to take the plunge into the red sea.

i think cuz it's more of a taboo item.
just like how toys in the bedroom were, i think people just prefer to keep it hush hush.
i've never done it-i think i would be too embarrassed about it.
