I had to get blood work to see if I am pg. The lady taking my blood told me it takes 5-7 days to get the results.
I thought they could have them back in like a day.
How long did anyone elses take?

That's not right. Processing a blood sample should not take more than 24 to 48 hours, tops! Whenever I've had a blood test done, I've had the results by the next day.
I agree with whomever above said to call and check. Bug them and tell them that you are in no position to play the waiting game. Make it seem urgent! :)

I did my blood test at my friend's mom's lab...and it took exactly 20 minutes to get the results...you see what happens is, they have to leave the blood to settle, so that the serum (liquid part of your blood) separate from the solid particles which will slowly settle on the bottom...then she took part of the serum and placed it in a test (which looks exactly like the home urine pregnancy test) and 2 lines came up indicating that I was pregnant...so in reality it takes only 20 -30 minutes to get the results...

Urine is instant..within minutes. Blood should take no more than a day unless they are testing for something else. Of course that also depends on the doctor's office. If they don't have their own lab, could take longer.

Had my blood taken cuz I wanted to know right away with my second baby, blood test at 11 am I knew by 3pm that day!! I was just barely 4 weeks.

How long it takes depends on the lab used by your doctor and how busy that lab is. That's why it's 5-7days where yours will be done.

What??? No...I had mine taken and they called me back about 4 hours later with the results. You'll get results on a darned pee test quicker than that.

For me they took a urine sample and tested it for pregnancy hormone levels. That test was instant. I don't know about a blood test.
