Are the EPT tests the early detection kind? I'd say, take one more EPT test and if it's positive, consider yourself prego and call an OBGYN to set up an appointment! :)
Oh, but I just thought of something... Sometimes your body can release hormones that will make a pg test read positive. However, if you're due for your period, your boobs are sore, and you're acting irrationally... I bet you are!
Best of luck! :)

Well, different tests need different amounts of hcg to come up positive. The most conclusive test is a blood test, that will tell you for sure, but it does sound as if you are pregnant. You are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive, and my ept was right on the money when it came back positive, even though the cheapest tests I could find, which came from a dollar store read negative 5x. Good luck and I hope you get the result you want!

It is possible for the result to come out positive and it actually be negative. If your late you should wait a few more days, take another test and see what those results are. Try to take the test in the morning. If the result is positive, then go to the Doctor ASAP. They will give you another test. Then you'll now for sure..

Home tests are normally a lot better than the cheap tests used at doctor. Plus how early was your sample, cause 1st morning urine has more HCG levels in it.
As long as you tested correctly and looked at test within the correct time , then their is a little chance one is wrong , never mind 2 !
Take another one of your own tests, then take it to doctors.
worst case is that you where pregnant but the egg did not implant, its commen and their is nothing that you did wrong. But best not to worry about yet. Good Luck

You don't get false positives. You can get a false negative, but not false pos. (The pregnancy hormone NEEDS to be there for it to register positive.)

Your best bet will be to have a blood test done.
