Girls:
Makaia -- 7 (unusual but uncertain pronounciation may be annoying when she has to constantly correct the way people pronounce her name all her life!).

Natalia -- 7 (less rare name but more certain pronounciation...sounds foreign).

Mercy -- 4 (I like the biblical context of mercy but this name is a nickname for "Mercedes" where I come from...and I wouldn't name my daughter after a car!...I like "Grace" better).

Vanessa -- 5 (a somewhat snooty name but might be a good fit for some families, with some last names, etc...).

Elizabeth -- 8 (a bit common but I like all the nickname options with this name...and the full name would look great on letterhead for a business woman, doctor or lawyer! *smile*).

Trista -- 5 (I'd give Tristan a 7 for a girl but Trista sounds like a lame way to name a girl after a boy/man with that name...or it could be a new brand of chewing gum).

Reagan -- 7 (less common name though I think I prefer the spelling "Raegan").

Kelly -- 8 (I always give this name when I don't want to tell someone my real name...I've always liked this name...sounds happy and fun...but give her a strong middle name or let her choose her own since this name may not be professional enough for some future careers).

Boys:

Aidan -- 7 (like this name but it seems to have been over-used in the last few years...I know five kids less than 3 years old with that name...you're kid may go through school with an initial added to his first name...yuck!!).

Michael -- 5 (strong name but over-used and "Mike" nickname rhymes with too many words).

Memphis -- 4 (for a boy...but I'd give it a 9 as a girl's name!...if you're going to name a boy after a city, use one that sounds more masculine like "Reno", "Austin", "Laredo" or "Cody").

Kansas -- 2 (I can't explain but this one also sounds too feminine...Nevada is the best state name I can think of but even that I'd only give a 3 or 4.)

Landon -- 7 (interesting but a bit snooty...seems to go best with Elizabeth for the girl).

Lucky -- 2 (I can't forget the joke about the blind, 3-legged, one-earred dog...a good name for a gangster but your kid will share his name with quite a few of his friend's pets through his life).

Lorenzo -- 3 (Lorenzo Lamas...need I say more...).

Justin -- 8 (Like this name...good, strong, straight forward...I'd pair it with Kelly).

Jack -- 4 (like Jack as a nickname for John...too many words can be added to that name that would make him an easy target for teasing e.g., Jack A_ _, Jack O _ _, Jumping Jack. I'd give "Jackson" a higher rating but then there's that Michael Jackson thing...).

Assuming a boy and a girl...

Memphis is my fav but only for a girl and you don't have another boy's name that seems to go well with that...perhaps one of the other city names I mentioned (Memphis and Austin) if you want to be a bit cutesy...and Jason sounds good to me for some reason. ...but given the options you provided, my favorite combinations are:

Kelly and Justin = 10
Landon with Elizabeth, Reagan or Vanessa = 9 (10 if you use Raegan).

Congrats on your upcoming twins! :) I assume you're having a girl and a boy. Here are my votes on the names you listed. I'll assume that you're not interested in people randomly suggesting names NOT on the list, since then you'd probably have 100+ names to pick from. ;) So, I'll stick with your list.

I dont care for names that sound like a boys & a girls, like Kelly. It is awkward for the child too, cuz people dont know if it is a boy or girl.
Lucky sounds feminine for a guy. It is more of a dogs name. Alot of dogs are named lucky.
Vanessa and Lorenzo are kind of spanish names, but nothing wrong with that.
Michael is always a good sturdy mans name.
