My daughter is 2 and a half and she usally goes through different fazes of movies that she likes to watch, she went from disney movies to super hero movies ( spider-man, superman, supergirl, hulk ext. ) to dancing movies. Now she has a thing for horror movies, mostly Jason and Freddy movies, as soon as I come home from work she pulls the DVD'S out of the rack so I can put them on for her. I really don't like putting them on for her but if I don't she starts to cry and it makes me feel really bad, I explain to her that their only movies and she doesn't seem to be afraid when shes watching the movies and on most of the bad scenes I cover her eyes. Now recently i've noticed that shes tossing and turning and sometimes whining while shes sleeping. What can I do to make her forget about these movies and to get back to watching sesame street and barbie ? And is their anything I can do to get her to sleep peacefully again ?

my sister has a one year old son and an eight month old daughter, and she's pregnant again!!! i told her to get on birth control or get a IUD, but she says, "so what, you think i'm stupid?" i DON"T think she's stupid, but she should just be more careful... how can i tell her without her getting pissed? she's only 15. I'm 17 and pregnant, but, crap, at least i wanted to have a child!

One of the most sacred and beautiful blessings of my life has been becoming a mother. As a mother it is nothing that I would not do to make sure that my child is happy and safe. I went to a resturant for lunch and this mother was telling thier child that they were already fat enough that they did not need to eat anymore food. I could not believe it. The child looked about 9 or 10. She was a lttle chubby but she was absolutely beautiful. She had hardly even eaten half of her salad. I have heard many people do this before. They do not care what they are doing to thier child when they make comments like that. They forget the important things like self confidence and self esteem. If your child is a little chubby, cook a little differently, do fun things with them, you do not have to tell them that they are fat. Fat is not a stigma, although I am not fat, I have seen some gorgeous women on the plump side that could have almost any man they want.

HELLO, IM 23 YEARS OLD. I WANT TO HAVE A BABY. I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX WITH MY BOYFRIEND 8 DAYS AGO. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 16/01/07 and due on my period 25/01/07. I obviously dont know if i have missed my period but am experiencing symptoms that i dont usually get as i never have any symptoms as such for my period anyway. Ive been feeling a bit sick from time to time, and now as im writing this i feel a lil bit bloated and my discharge is not as it normally is, it keeps changing back and forth from stringy to a milky substance, my boobs only feel a lil bit sore but not much. Im 20 and have not been pregnant in the past as weve always been careful, so i am a lil bit scared as to what im experiencing. If anyone could advise or help me to what im experienceing i would really appreciate it! thanks x x

I have a 9 1/2 yr old, 4th grade son. Recently, he is just lying about everything. From having his homework done to blatant things right in front of me! What can I do other than "calling him" on it and punishing him? It's driving me nuts!!!

Did your parents or school teach you about it? I just don't understand why there are so many dumb girls/women, boys/men on here asking "could I be pregnant, what are the chances my gf is pregnant?" How uneducated are we as a society nowadays? I am just surprised how often these questions are asked.

HMy son(3 1/2) has been regressing alot lately. He urinates in every pair of underwear he has on. Sometimes he dosent even want me to give him new underware. How should I be handeling this,Im not even sure why? Stress is usually why but there are so many around here now,I cant pinpoint. Hi,
I have been trying to get pg. I have been off the pill since Oct. 22/06.
I have had regular periods, coming every 32 days, and now this one just came on day 30, and no luck yet. We have been doing it every 2nd day pretty much, so lots of love making makes me feel like one of us isn'tworking. I have a 5 year girl so I think I work, but I am scared he doesn't. How come I am not PG yet? Will I ever be?
PS, I am 26 and he is 35.

I went to my doctor cause my right breast was hurting me, what it seems was like I had some sort of a lump or something. So I was set to a sonogram and nothing showed up there. I have irregular periods, and i dont remmber when I had my last one but its definatly late. (its always late) . Today for no reason I decided to have a home pregnancy test....the result came out POSITIVE!. I am going back to my doctor today. I was wondering whats the safest abortion method during your first month or weeks of pregnancy. I am just not ready for kids right now.

I read a very good statement earlier. You have to commit a crime (like lying on your applications)or be an illegal alien to recieve government assistance. (Isn't being in the United States illegaly, considered braking the law-commiting a crime- anyways) So how many US citizens have lied on your medicaid papers just to be eligable, and then got caught? What was your penalty? ( I posted this Q in law and ethics, but nobody seems to want to answer) So now I'll ask parents.

My girlfriend has a baby that is 15months old...My girlfriend also has a very bad little brother who is 5. I dont want to be in a relationship where the baby im trying to take care of, who isnt mine , has it in her to be a bad problem child. The baby and little brother have been living with each other for a while and I do see some characteristics of him in her... Should I waite to see how the baby acts around 2 or 3 yrs before making a decision? Also, would it be wrong for me to tell my girlfriend how I feel? How should I tell her ?

My daughter is a Chemistry teacher and will be 30 tomorrow. I am sure the kids would love to find her embarrassed. As hopefully she doesn't check back of her car going out to school thought I would put on a not so good baby picture of her with words like "Look who's 30 today". Problem is what do I stick it on with that will not damage the silver metalic paint? I have Sellotape, double sided tape, Pritt stick pad but unsure if they could remove paint and I am sure she would then not find it funny Does any one know or have any other ideas for doing this?
