I know that there is no way to tell for sure so please dont respond with any smart a** comments. I was just curious to see what other moms have experienced and what they would predict. This is my second baby!

just wondering what everyone thinks by the progress i have made so far...i am also 30% effaced and her head is at a +2 station.

I was at 3cm and 60% efaced for about one week before my water broke and I went into labor which was a week before my due date. I was at 2cm for the longest time and then started getting contractions and went to the hospital and they said I was contracting and got me all hooked up to the machines and ready to go and then it stopped at 3cm which was upsetting. They just told me to walk a lot because that would help to eface and eventually dialate so I walked everyday for that week :-) Shouldnt be long now at all in my opinion, Good luck!!

It can be a while. I was dialated 2 cm on friday (back in 2005) and I went into labor Tuesday morning at 3 AM lost my plug around the after noon (loosing plug doesn't mean you will go into labor soon because your body can make another) and then my daughter was born at 5:16 Wednesday. Oh and I was 40 weeks and a day, btw. It will be a while!

well as long as everything goes right you will be going into labour anyday now. once you hit 3cm your labour will be next, yes i agree you should start walking and that will help you out.
my sis-n-law had 5 babies and i've had 2 so far. I know i stayed at 2 for a long time (about 2 weeks) but then I started having contraction and went to the hospital I was 3 cm and shortly went to 4. Good luck!!! Congradulations!!!!

+2 station is the first stage you have to be -2 before you give labor

Well 4-5cm is considered active labor, so you don't have far to go, start walking to get you rcontractions going, good luck!

I was dialated 3 cm for 5 weeks and then I was induced, but you know everyone is different, I hope its sooner for you.

With my second I was 3 cm for 3 weeks and they still had to induce me.

everyones body is diffrent, so you could still be looking at weeks! ( which sucks) but maybe if you go and walk around that will help! Good Luck

could be tonight could be next week, just plan onit being a few days after your due date unless you go early in which case you will not get a chance to worry about it cause you will be dealing with it already

honey you are in labor if you start having contractions go to the hospital or if your water breaks, but it could be anytime now
