We live in Lawrenceville, GA and are looking for a salon that is geared toward shildren to take our 2 yr old to get her hair cut for the first time. Anyone know of any good locations?

Look into a snip its...they are somewhat pricey (15.95 for a child's haircut) but they are geared specifically for children. Each chair has a video game/movie thing with special "snip its" movies and games. and the kids get a "prize" at the end of their haircut. For $3.95 extra, you can have your child's picture taken and have a lock of their hair put on a certificate for her first hair cut. I'm not sure if any of these lcoations are by your town, but look into it. The website is www.snipits.com. Here's a list of locations in GA:

I do not know anywhere very close to you. But a good thing to do is to go in to one near by and have her in the waiting room for a little bit. See how they respond to young children. Make sure that there is someone there that likes kids and are use to their movement.

try a cookie cutters...if you have them...they are geared towards younger children. and they are very friendly. if you don't have one..then check online..or maybe even the disney website might have some suggestions. oh, and make sure you keep a little bit of hair for a scrapbook...

do not go to super cuts. they are really bad. see if they have a cartoon cuts where you live; there great.
