HELLO, IM 23 YEARS OLD. I WANT TO HAVE A BABY. I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX WITH MY BOYFRIEND 8 DAYS AGO. IS THERE ANYWAY I COULD KNOW IF IM EXPECTING EARLY I FEEL WEIRD I DONT KNOW IF IS MENTAL BEING AS THOUGH I WANT THIS REALLY BAD. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME I'M ALL NEW TO THIS THATS WHY I M HERE LOOKING FOR ADVICE. AND ANSWERS. too soon once your period is a few days late take a test or you could try to get a doctor to do a blood test

8 days after having sex is REALLY early to be able to detect it on a test. A very small amount of women can tell that early, but most women can't. The pregnancy hormone just isn't strong enough to be detected by a pregnancy test. The average is 11 to 14 days after having the unprotected sex at ovulation time. I would wait a few more days before testing because you might be wasting money on expensive tests. It's soooooo hard to wait. That's the hardest part because you want to know so badly. A lot of the feelings are mental too. It's a bit early to be feeling anything from pregnancy. Symptoms don't usually start showing up until you're a few more weeks along. I remember when I was dating a guy and I thought I was pregnant (and didn't want to be), I thought I was extra hungry and really tired. Then I got my period so it was obviously all in my head. Then when I got married and started trying to get pregnant, I also felt what I thought were symptoms. Then I got my period. I got pregnant after 7 tries. I would try and wait it out and take a test in 3 or 4 more days.

You do not have to wait long about 7 days I think.
There are several different ways to find out if you are pregnant faster. There is a test by E.P.T. I think it is called "Early Detection Pregnancy Test". I am not sure though. Also you can go to the doctor.
And if you can not afford to do that you can always go to
"Plan Parenthood", I know they do it for free. I believe in Mothers intuition, I have been pregnant 2 times and I know exactly what days I concieved.

I got pregnant for the first time when I was 23 yrs old.
I thought I knew it all and come to find out I knew nothing. After having my daughter, everything I was able to do before I had children was no more. I found that life the way it once was would never be the same again. You gain a life as well as lose a life.
My freedom to get up and take off and do whatever I wanted when I wanted was taken away, I have responsibilities now, and two daughters who rely solely on me. I no longer get to take off anytime day or bight and do as I wish . Having children means putting your self last and putting your children first at all costs. Which is the same. The money you once were able to spend on things you really did not need now has to go formula, diapers, clothes, medicine and other things. Then as your children grow up they begin to need other things.mMy children are now 8 & 9yrs old and they are exspencive! For example: School you have to buy them school uniforms, school supplies,shoes, books from the book fair, school pictures(and they hit you up for pics at least 4 times a year) and alot of other stuff.Instead of buying your self that pretty outfit you wanted you find yourself buying snacks for your childs class room or Valentines so your child can be like the other children, as well as other things your child needs. Me myself as a Mom want my children to have everything I did not have as a kid. Your childs school friends can be mean. For example, they make fun of your child if they were to know that you buy their clothes from Good Will or Wal-mart. Or even if your kid does not have the latest fashion fad or stylish items that they do.
Make sure you know what you are doing before bringing a life into this cruel world. Can you afford a child?

I found out 8 days past ovulation that I was pregnant - that's about the earliest you can find out. You need to get one of the early pregnancy tests that can detect HCG up to 5 days before your missed period.

A blood test is the fastest way to find out. If you aren't into needles, you can take a "First Response" pregnancy test a week before your expected period.

8 days after sex is too early to know. The fertilized egg (if there is one) hasn't even implanted yet. You need to wait until you have a missed period and then take a pregnancy test.
