my husband is leaving for iraq in a week...we have a 3 week old baby girl....anyone know of any good songs?!?!?!

Our daughter will soon be 3 1/2 years old. She has been peeing in the potty for 6 months but no matter what we do or bribe her with, we cannot get her to do a BM in the toilet or potty. She even goes so far as to ask for a pull-up when she has to go. We normally wear panties on her almost exclusively, but she will hold it until she gets constipated and we have to give her a pull-up to relieve her. We try putting her on the toilet when we know she has to go, but she just sits there and does nothing. Any ideas?

I saw pinkish brownish blood mixed with mucous this morning is this my mucous plug? It wasn't thick it was more like a period. Then I saw some more sticky mucous not much just a little.

Ma baby is already a month old. Since he was born he has been drinking Good Start Supreme Formula. He be vomitting too much. I dont know if its the formula or what?? I made an appoitment with the doctor this saturday. Im just so worried about all that vomitting.

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and my baby has dropped in to position in my pelvis. I was walking around when i started having this stabbing jabbing pain in my lower ab like I was being scratched from the inside. it only occures when I walk around. What is it? did you have this pain?

I know that sperm can live for up to five days, but what about while menstruating? If insemination occured the day before menstruation, could the sperm have lived until after menstruation, and then implanted? I'm really confused about this!

And please no "go see your doctor" answers. I will see my doctor soon, but I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone, or if anyone knows of this.

I'm 4 months pregnant and my belly has become SO fuzzy during my pregnancy! I had slight hair on my stomach before, but now it's all over. If I put a little bit of static near my belly, tons of little hair's rise all over the place, lol. It looks funny. They're not dark hairs either. I do have dark hair, but these hairs are light blond, but much much longer and all over since I became pregnant. I'd say they are about 1/4 in long. I don't look like chewbacca or anything, lol and it's just my tummy. Why is this? Even my boyfriend noticed.

My wife's due date is Saturday, January 27. However, we have an appointment for her labor to be induced on Thursday the 25th. She had an appointment with her OB/GYN yesterday, and she was the same amount dialated and effeaced (2 cm, 80%) as she was her previous appointment the week before. Since there was no change, are we doing the right thing by inducing, or do you think it would be better to just let nature run it's course? Before we got pregnant, my wife was 5'0", 115 lbs. so needless to say, the weight of the baby has been a burden and is making her more and more uncomfortable. Thanks for your input.

My son has four teeth. Two are on top, in front. Two are on bottom, in front. He's in the process of getting a fifth tooh. It's on the bottom, in the middle.

He can now eat a cookie or cracker by himself without a problem. We've never given him anything smaller than a vanilla wafer, though.

How do you know if your child is ready for something smaller?

i don't usually use pull-ups except for at night. i was taught that plastic panties are more effective during potty training. i have a lot of errands to run with my daughter who is currently potty training. should i use plastic panties or pull-ups to run these errands? will it create confusion with her whole potty training concept if i use pull-ups? please let me know your advice. i greatly appreciate it!

Sometimes he will eat if someone else feeds him. And he'll usually eat if we make him sit there and wait, especially if we make him watch us eat. But sometimes he just refuses to eat it, period. The last couple of weeks I've had to give him a bottle more than once just to get him to eat. I know I shouldn't do this, but some days it's the only way to get him to eat.

What do you guys think? Does he suddenly have a problem with me feeding him? Or is he simply bored of eating babyfood?

(Note: I'm getting ready to start feeding him other things, some finger foods. I just haven't gotten there yet. I'm beginning to think he just wants to feed himself. Any ideas?)

Hi, I just wanted some opinions... We have been TTC for 5 months, and a few people know this, like my mother and best friend, but I was just curious what people thought about telling family before conception or just waiting for pregnancy.

My niece is 17 months old and still breastfeeding, she would not eat anything but breast milk when her mom is there, but when the mom goes to work she would eat regular baby food with her dad. Any advise on how to make her eat and make stop breadfeeding?
