What do you think of two siblings having the same middle name? It is a family name, and I kind of like the Idea, to honor my father. The name can be spelled differently for masculine or feminine.

Hi, I'm researching a feature on handling toddler tantrums. I am looking at other ways we can say 'no!' to our kids without actually using that word. I'd love to hear any tips from real mums. Also, how do you stop yourself from saying 'no' in the heat of the moment?

ive just come on today:-( but its quite light and a brownish colour. i have heard you can have a light period when your pregnant? could i be? and why havent i concieved yet! i would have thought being young and healthy i would have concieved right away.

My daughter is 6 years old and is in kindergarden. And just in the past couple months she has decided she hates school and doesn't want to go. She will become very ill and throw up several times the evening before school and throughout the night and sometimes in the morning. I have taken her to the doctor and she is physically fine. I have talked to her teachers and she's not being picked on and has friends and does quite well with her school work but she just flat out does not want to go. She will cry and sob and carry on and eventually throw up. I know I have to send her but she tells me that she'll miss me or miss her dad and that she loves us more than the other kids in school love their parents so she misses us much more than her school mates miss their parents. I am at my witts end here and it is becoming quite strain in the home. Someone please help us!!

My daughter is 4 months and has learnt to roll back to stomach, but just hasn't mastered stomach to back yet. She did it once but thats it. The problem is, she rolls over to her stomach and plays for a bit but won't even try to roll from stomach to back. She gets frustrated on her stomach after a while, so I pick her up, and roll her on her back, and she rolls again. Any ideas on how I can get her to roll stomach to back?

I have been charting my bbt and it raised on monday and we didn't have sex between sat-mon., is this going to decrease our chances of becoming pregnant. I also read that you are most fertile 2-3 days before the raise in temp. Just not sure what were my best days to have had sex, would like to know for future reference.

i have no idea what they are. they are tiny, the size of a small poppy seed, and are kind of gelatiney. i am wearing johnson and johnson nursing pads and don't use any loitons on my breasts...please help me figure it out, need to know if it's harmful for my baby to continue nursing. has anyone else experienced this?

My girlfriend suspects that she might be pregnant her period is a day late, and I am very nervous. She has been on the pill but we do not use a condom. I have been a nervous wreck all day trying to figure out what to do if she is pregnant. I am recently oout of grad school, up to my ears in debt from all the loans and just started my first post college job in Sept. I come froma regular middle class family, she comes from an extremely wealthy but VERY CATHOLIC family. As I said, I don't know if she is pregnant, she might not be. But how do I deal with both families if she is pregnant??

I think I experienced some implantation but not sure how it looks and how it suppose to feel. I felt crampy in the middle as well as the sides period is not due until 5 days from know and lower back hurts on and off. Is this implantation? how does it feel? what does it look like? My cousin is 25 and having her first baby.

She has always been a heavy drinker and parties with her friends at bars, concerts and house parties with 5-10 people.

She has friends who bring their babies to the house parties and drink with their little kids and babies there. They spend the day after the parties hung over while their parents watch their children. They have the motto of “Why should I stop partying when I am still young?”

My cousin says she has no intention to stop partying when the baby gets here. She plans to take the baby along to house parties and hang out with her drunk friends and her husband is okay with this too.

I know it’s not my kid, but this upsets me so much. I am pregnant with my first baby too and I wouldn’t even take my dog to a place where people are drinking out of control!

Do you think it’s appropriate to take a baby with you to house parties or out drinking?

that I'm sitting down for a meal, having a cuppa, watching my favourite TV programme or (trying) to get jiggy with my husband!!
I make sure they have all my attention while they are awake and they're happy, but as soon as I try to do my own 'stuff' they come downstairs wanting something! Or the baby cries even if I just THINK of getting nookie!!
Is it a universal child phenomenon or is it just my little monsters?

I need other peoples experiences on this matter. The problem is this.. I ovulate (or at least according to ovulation tests I do) every month, then around 6 days after ovulation I get my period. It starts out light then after a day or two gets darker brown and heavier to the point that its a medium period flow (about a week). Stops for a few days then I get it again this time dark red for 4-5 days (this I call my normal period). I dont understand why I get two each month?? I know typically you supposed to ovulate 14 days before your next period, yet I get one 6 days after. I want to know if anyone else has this problem and wether they ended up concieving? or what their doctor told them about it? Or just why this happens? Ive looked everywhere online but only thing that pops up is stuff about pregnancy and implantation bleeding which it is not so thats why I need your help. Im making an appointment with a doctor for after all this finishes up but I would like some experiences from others

Hey, Just wondering if the salads you can get a fast food restaurants are as healthy as if you made them at home and are they a good choice during pregnancy? Last weekend I had Arby's Chicken Club Salad - it comes w/ a big packet of ranch but I only use like a third of that packet on my salad and throw the rest away. I only eat out 2 or 3 times a month (always on the weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday night). What I usually choose is a salad w/ chicken like the one from Arby's. I just alternate the restaurant, sometimes it'll be Sonic's Grilled Chicken salad or Wendy's Chicken BLT or Mandarin Chicken Salad.
So what do you all think of getting salads from fast food restaurants during pregnancy?

I just cant wrap my head around it....at alll! I am 5 wks preggers and my partner of 4 1/2 years (been cohabiting for 2) wants me to terminate. It breaks my heart on so many levels and I just cant believe what is happening! He wants absolutely nothing to do with my going forward and has told me that he wont help me in any way...I am studying and working and I have not told my mom about being pregnant yet. She lives in anothe He has a six year old son and he takes very good care of him even though he lives with his mom and visits on the wk end. We have always talked about having kids even as recently as the day before I found out...and then he flipped! I am beside myself and my mood swings take me to places that I think I might lose the baby anyway. He owns a business and is doing well financially but keeps saying that he cant help financially. I dont know what to do and I am very angry at him! Has this happened to anyone out ther? What did you do? How did you get over it? Help please!
