I need other peoples experiences on this matter. The problem is this.. I ovulate (or at least according to ovulation tests I do) every month, then around 6 days after ovulation I get my period. It starts out light then after a day or two gets darker brown and heavier to the point that its a medium period flow (about a week). Stops for a few days then I get it again this time dark red for 4-5 days (this I call my normal period). I dont understand why I get two each month?? I know typically you supposed to ovulate 14 days before your next period, yet I get one 6 days after. I want to know if anyone else has this problem and wether they ended up concieving? or what their doctor told them about it? Or just why this happens? Ive looked everywhere online but only thing that pops up is stuff about pregnancy and implantation bleeding which it is not so thats why I need your help. Im making an appointment with a doctor for after all this finishes up but I would like some experiences from others

See a doctor... a doctor is the only person who can truely tell you what is going on with your body.

I have not personally delt with that but my best friend had a problem where she would get her period two sometimes three times a month and its something her mom had too I am not sure what caused it but she's ok and i said all that to let you know she has had three beautiful healthy children so you can conceive but you should call your gyn to get an examination

My sister had a similar period and when she wanted to have a baby, she had difficulty. When she went in she was diagnosed with endemetrioses(I hope I spelled it correctly) You may want to look up the sympoms. I am holding her 7 month old right now, so it just took a little more work!

Have you seen a doctor about this? You may actually have 2 uteruses. You may remember a story about a woman about a month ago who had this condition - she got pregnant in both at the same time and gave birth to triplets: twins in one and a single birth in the other.

maybe you just have an irregular period. or there could be an underlying cause.
