I've told my boys that if you pick your nose, the snail that lives in it will bite their finger like it did their uncle...(he lost a thumb and to the 1st knuckle of his index finger) the look on their faces from that is classic. I've also told them that I would unscrew their belly-button and make their legs fall off if they don't quit running through the house! Although, the oldest one doesn't believe me anymore! lol

I tell my 4 yr old that if she doesnt keep her tongue in her mouth it will freeze that way and she'll never be able to eat her favorite foods again but now my 18 month old does it so shes seeing that its not so true =/

My sister told me that if you put your finger in your belly button that you would unravel. I thought it was really true and even imagined little people rolling up my skin like carpet so needless to say my fingers don't go near my button! or anyone elses!

My daughter refused to eat goldfish crackers, so to get her to eat goldfish crackers, I told her that the goldfish would be swimming in her tummy once she ate them! Seems like reverse psychology worked - now when she eats them she will sing out "Goldfish swimming in my tummy!" LOL

i read this joke somewhere that they told the kid that if she sucks her thumb, her stomach would swell up. The next day in church, she sees a pregnant woman and shouts, "I know what YOU have been doing!"

I tell my boys to eat certain vegis..it will put hair on their chests! LOL..they are all now teens and preteens and HUGE vegis eaters!!

I don't lie to my children so none. I guess I'm kind of boring that way. I just don't see the need to tell them lies. What good will come of that in the long run?
