My sister in law and my brother have been living in France for 2 years. But now they want to move to New Jersey and deliver their baby in NJ. She is 8 months pregnant and she needs insurance for herself, the baby and her husband that is appropriate in NJ. All the insurance places she has called say that they are not able to give insurance to pregnant wives. Is there any insurance that you know about that i can know about that my brother's family will be Eligible for in NJ.

We just bought our first house and I want to do some painting, etc. to our baby's room before it's born. My mother in law is dead set and hell bent that the paint fems will have an effect on our unborn child is this true?

i have a soon to be 2 year old cousin who eats dry wall!!!he is also a paper eater as well and i believe he thinks its paper...its gotten worse now b/c my aunt has put up the door fram and he goes to the other side of the wall and actually chew holes in the wall just to get to it....any advice on how we can get him to stop???and has this ever happened to someone else baby????also ive tried to give him some of my daughters baby food to make sure hes not hungry but he wont eat that.......he goes to the dry wall like its dessert or something....PLZ HELP thanks

But they don't believe it should be outlawed? I do NOT believe spanking is child abuse but I don't understand how people can say it is child abuse and it shouldn't be outlawed. I mean, you either support spanking or you don't right? Does that mean they think child abuse should be legal?

Before you ask I feel spanking is a very effective form of discipline.
Parent's don't want to spank but it is sometimes necessary
Parent's don't spank to hurt their children...they do it to get their attention.
Parents who spank also use other forms of discipline.
Parents who spank aren't afraid of disciplining their children.

Parent's who don't spank have perfect children (yeah right)
Parent's who don't spank are more concerned about being friends with their children rather than parents.
Parent's who don't spank have very young children and haven't been put in that situation yet (That used to be me)

But then again, that is just my opinion?

I had the Mirena thing put in in July. My last period was December 2nd. I have spotted through the month of January so far. Has this happened to anyone else? I have been pretty sick lately in all fairness. I had my appendix taken out at the end of December, and then I had a the stomach flu, now currently dealing with a cough. I have had sex since my last period and I know that there is always a possiblity. I have been under lots of stress with bills and such being sick. I can still feel the strings, and have been nausous and been drooling in my sleep, like I did with both my sons. Any advice is welcome, Thanks!

My daughter is almost 16 months old and she eats almost the same foods everday. I would love to try new things with her, but everytime I seem to try a new food with her, she gets a diaper rash. She currently eats the following foods: peas, carrots, green beans, jello fruit cups (but only peaches or oranges), spaghettios, mac n cheese (but not too much due to the milk/diaper rash), squash, and peach cobbler in the baby food still, and teddy grahams. That's pretty much it! My hubby and I will try soups, or hamburger helper, or different snack foods, and she ends up with a tummy ache and the diaper rash. I have talked to her pediatrician and she just keeps telling me to wait a few weeks and try the food again. Any suggestions?? And, what does your little one eat? (Oh, and the diaper rash isn't severe, but it does make her uncomfortable.) Thanks

I went out and bought every kind you can imagine, I'm a dork I know. But I still keep getting BFN with the absolute positve in my body and mind that I am preggers. I think my period was due today and am getting nothing. No spotting, nothing. So just wondering what kind you all use that you love, and what kind you use that you just hate!

ok i am 20 years old i have a daughter already. me and my husband are trying. i am scared because when i was about 12 my doctors told me i would never have children due to some female problems. i started my period at a very early age and since then i have had a lot of remale problems. when i found out i was pregnant my dr was shocked. he said i wouldnt be able to get pregnant a second time. well i got a new dr to deliver my baby. and he seemed to think that i would be able to get pregnant a second time. i am confused!!!! i thought for a long time that i wasnt going to be able to have kids. and then BOOM im pregnant. well now i want another baby soo bad. and im scared i wont get pregnant.how long does it usually take?? by the way my daughter is almost 2. any advice??

My niece is 23.5 weeks pregnant with a boy. She has a heart condition and wasn't supposed to get pregnant to begin with. She has already had 2 strokes and 3 open heart surgeries. When she found out she was pregnant, she opted to try to have the baby over getting an abortion. Two days ago she began to bleed heavily and went into the hospital where they found a large blood clot. She has been bleeding since then and has been in critical condition. They have been afraid that the blood clot would dislodge and cause a stroke. They finally got her stable enough to give her a blood transfusion and transport her to a hospital that has the equipment to treat her and the baby. They are going to take the baby and give her a complete hystorectomy. I have read some on micro preemies and I know that at 23 weeks the baby has a chance to survive. All the scans right now show the baby in good condition. Does anyone know anything about a micro preemies survival rates and quality of life after birth?

My last period was on december 19 and nothing have happen the only thing is that my boobs hurt and I have cramps and no sign of blood. Except yesterday at night I went to urinate and I saw in my kotex just a slight spot of pink blood and I thought here it comes finally(like always) but I clean myself and no sign of blood. And I thought werll tomorrow it'l happen but nothing!!! What is going on? Also I feel dizziness and my stomach hurts.

I'm feeling more and more movement really low and I'm about 28 weeks. It feels much like the kicking I was experiencing earlier in my side, although now it makes me wonder if I'm gonna be seeing a foot or hand coming out any time.
It's my first pregnancy and I'm not sure what's all considered normal or what to expect. Any one with advice, that would be great.
