My sister in law and my brother have been living in France for 2 years. But now they want to move to New Jersey and deliver their baby in NJ. She is 8 months pregnant and she needs insurance for herself, the baby and her husband that is appropriate in NJ. All the insurance places she has called say that they are not able to give insurance to pregnant wives. Is there any insurance that you know about that i can know about that my brother's family will be Eligible for in NJ.

If their income is on the low side they may qualify for free or reduced cost at a city hospital.

She needs to call and ask for pregnancy insurance, that is all it will cover & it is very expensive, however if that is the move they want to make she will have to pay that price, bummer I know. Blu Cross offers it, as do many others she will also want insurance for her family & herself for primary medical. If worst comes to worst & they are US citizins she can apply for goverment Medicade for her pregnancy if they qualify when they get here.
