I'm feeling more and more movement really low and I'm about 28 weeks. It feels much like the kicking I was experiencing earlier in my side, although now it makes me wonder if I'm gonna be seeing a foot or hand coming out any time.
It's my first pregnancy and I'm not sure what's all considered normal or what to expect. Any one with advice, that would be great.
Thanks

Thats completly normal. the baby is bigger and moving a lot more. I actually could see my daughter toes late in my first pregnancy, not comfortable at all!! But is totally normal.

I think everything that you consider as feeling comfortable is "normal". Everybody is different and even if your're pregnant for the 5th time, every pregnancy is different. -Relax and enjoy it.
That's at least the way I think about it. It's also my first baby. 16th week now and allready I can feel something going on inside. (No, I don't mean the flatulence.) So I think 28th week is very normal to feel movement. Later when the baby doesn't have so much room anymore it will become less.

My second one felt much like that - we could see the imprint of her hands and feet as she kicked. It depends what way the baby is lying as to what and how much you feel. As long as you are feeling regular movement don't worry too much. It can sometimes feel mighty wierd but it's all part of the pregnancy experience!! If you are concerned about anything at any point, just ask your midwife. Good luck and enjoy x x x

My sons were both tiny and they kicked loads, but I never saw a hand or foot. The weirdest thing was seeing my stomach move in the bath! The bit after the birth is amazing though, still brings tears to my eyes now!

each pregnancy is different. sometimes I felt my son do a complete turn when I was quite far on in my pregnancy and that felt like he was twisting my stomach into knots! try not worry - there is a little person in there experiencing new abilities everyday like kicjing, punching, head banging, twisting - the sensation is bound to change as the baby develops new skills! I know it feels like an alien inside you but i'm sure its all ok and normal. enjoy it!

At 28 weeks your baby is still flipping around pretty regularly and in a month or two the baby will probably be head down for good it is normal for you to feel that now.

All sort of movement is absolutely o.k!!! Just sit back and enjoy every single moment of the pokes, prods and downright kicks! It is hard to tell when a protuberance is a heel or a hand, but what the hell - does it matter - just enjoy!

hi I'm 28 weeks too, i get kicks in my sides, just under my ribs, right in the middle of my tummy, and right down the bottom. i know exactly what you mean about worrying wether a hand or foot will pop out. i was worried about it too but im sure it just means you have an active baby like me who likes to move around his little home to get comfy lol. if you get most of you kicks right down low, its prob that the baby is happiest in this posistion. i get most of my kicks in my left side, so i reckon he likes lying across the way . hope this helps you to know that i get kicks there aswell

Yeah it sometimes feels that way. With my second daughter, I could have sworn that she was going to kick a foot out some days. With my second son, he didn't hardly kick like that at all. Just squirmed a lot. Good luck.

Your baby has found a position that it likes. Don't worry I have never heard of a baby kicking or punching its way out. You are fine relax and enjoy.
