I think some needs to look at the baby name book again and seriously consider some other names. At least one that one can pronounce. Remember a person has to go through their whole life with their given name. Don't give a child a name because you think it's cool or a fad.

You should also consider how your child might feel when the teachers cannot pronounce her/his name correctly. For characters in a story or for a fancy nickname...they're ok. For an American child's name..no. NO.
I also read at a baby name site that adults with unusual names have more difficulty finding jobs than people named Susie or Bob. I couldn't find it but here's a link like it.

I am not a big fan of them they are a little to different. Kai isn't bad though. Good luck naming a baby is hard. Cause the kid has to live with it forever.

Those are very interesting names, however as a teacher I shudder to think of the kid spelling those names on the top of every paper! Also, be prepared for alot of mispronounciations, that can get very annoying, very quickly! Good Luck!

well first off, what is your heritage/ethnic background? are there any family members you would like to remeber? and put yourself in your child's shoes when they are about the age when children like to pick on other children's names. i know you might love the sound of a name, but go over what it rhymes with, or what it might sound like slurred. always have your child's best interest in mind.
