ok i am 20 years old i have a daughter already. me and my husband are trying. i am scared because when i was about 12 my doctors told me i would never have children due to some female problems. i started my period at a very early age and since then i have had a lot of remale problems. when i found out i was pregnant my dr was shocked. he said i wouldnt be able to get pregnant a second time. well i got a new dr to deliver my baby. and he seemed to think that i would be able to get pregnant a second time. i am confused!!!! i thought for a long time that i wasnt going to be able to have kids. and then BOOM im pregnant. well now i want another baby soo bad. and im scared i wont get pregnant.how long does it usually take?? by the way my daughter is almost 2. any advice??

i guess i should mention that i dont have normal periods. ill get a period and have one for sometimes 2 months at a time and then i wont get a period for almost a year so i dont know my cycle!!

You probially can have another child don't give up home just yet. And don't stress out so bad about it. Take prenatial vitamins if you aren't already so your body will have all of that good stuff that it needs. Try having s*x when you are ovulating about 10-14 days before your next period don't stress out to much about it cause then it seams that it won't happen. Just don't think about it and let it happen it will when the time is right. Remember when the time is right not before. Best of luck

Some people get pregnant with 1 try and others take years, you need to stay calm and let it happen when it happens, you are only 20 so its not like time is running out for you. As for being told that you cant have more children go and see a Dr and see if this is true or not and if anything can be done to help you.

You are 20 years old! WHAT IS THE RUSH!!!? OK to answer your question... I believe anything is possible and it seems like you will be able to get pregnant again just like you did the first time. Miracles happen every day and I wish you the best of luck. But seriously... You need to have time to yourself, time with your daughter who is only two (baby's develop their brains & identities by age 3 so why not wait to try til after she is a little older...) time with your husband! You need to enjoy being 20!!!!
I am 23 & I hope that God blesses me with children some day. But I am also happy that I have been able to enjoy my own childhood & adolescence.
Enjoy life! Enjoy your 2 year old & life will bless you once more when the time is right.

Well firstly, they were wrong second time round, so whats not to say they are wrong this time?
In my experience, doctors do not have a very high iq these days, and all i can advise is either keep trying and dont give up, or get a second opinion! It takes some people a few months and some a few years, either way i wish you all the luck in the world xx

I got pregnant the first time I tried, but it differs from person to person. A friend of mine was told she could never have children and she has 3. Good luck!

i believe you could get pregnant... my doctors told me when i was 14 id never have kids... but i was just pregnant, i did lose it but i did what they said i couldnt do... there is science then their is your body, doctors usually look at your body and try to see what cant happen.. but nobody knows for sure weather you will... just like a condom it says you wont (most of the time) but how many have??... just keep trying and keep believeing you will get pregnant and i hope you do.. you sound like you realy want it and will be a good parent

Let me just give you some words of advice.....WAIT! I have 2 kids and it is not as easy as you think!!!!!!! Dont rush into anything. Have you ever realized that people who desperately try and try to have kids finally give up and within months they are pregnant. It is possible to try too hard!

THAT is why you should ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion.
If one said no, the other said yes, try a 3rd doctor - Preferably a fertility specialist.

although it can take time to get pregnant it sounds likeyou have a good chance just keep trying.thats the fun part anyway right??
