He was playing and laughing and when i got home after picking him up at playschool he all of a sudden started saying eina eina whilst touching his ear. School has no record of him doing that during the day. He has no fever just a runny nose which is possibly flu cause ive got flu. On off he was whining but still playing but when bedtime came he started crying non stop. What could it be, what can i do? Ive given Calpol, and also some tissue salts..... When he starts crying he its non stop and he only stops when falling asleep due to being tired..

I've been a stay at home mom to my daughter since she was born. She's 13 months now & I've loved every minute with her. We spend so much time playing, go to gymboree, playgroups, etc. Now in lieu of a possible pending divorce I'm looking for a full-time job - and actually have an interview which I didn't expect to happen so soon. I'm already dreading the day I have to leave her and don't know how I'll cope & on top of it be functional and professional learning a new job. Any coping techniques?

Never been pregnant before. I took two at home preg tests, different brands both said positive. The next day I took another one. Postive. A couple days later I started cramping and bleeding slightly like I was starting my period. The next day I called the Nurse Online and I had to get a blood preg test. Was positive, the doc said I am about 5 - 7 weeks preg. Makes me sad cuz I drank on Newyears :( And a couple days later. Bleeding is like a (don't mean to be gross) dark and light brown color. I have another test tomorrow to test a level of hormone. If is higher then it's good if it's lower, i could be mis-carrying. I feel positively guilty about drinking now that i know i'm preg. I was not expecting it at all. I am very happy and excited but worried something's wrong. Could it be because I drank like 2-3 weeks ago? I also heard i'm not supposed to scoop cat litter and I had been. I had cleaned house(majorly)yesterday before the doc called. Just wondering what normal help?

I have a two and a half year old son, and I've been hearing from people that if I have interest in exploring schools outside of our district, or even not in the public circuit, I should start now....is now too soon? He's a July baby, so he'd probably start Kindergarten the month after he turns 5.

I was just wondering, im 6 weeks well a little over 6 weeks,( have had + at home test and blood test from dr.) and i do not feel pregnant, I dont have morning, noon or night sickness, once in a while when i get up at 5am to see my hubby off to work i feel a little sick but i think its because i dont have any food in my stomache. anyways i dont seem to have frequent urination, no cravings, no breat tenderness ( had for about 2 weeks then went away) The only thing i do have is mood swings and i seem to be more tired in the evenings. Is this normal does everyone get those symptoms? or lack there of or will they come later. Not that im complaining about not being sick by any means! I just expected to. any information from women going through pregnacy or that have already went though this is apreciated. Thank you.

Also we are very excited about the pregnancy!!

I think NOW would be good- our son is 2-- and I think it would be a perfect time! our son ... at age 3, would be a great big brother, and the age gap would be good! ... but my husband says NO NO NO...
not for 6 years..... ummm.... I dont want the oldest to the "babysitter" rather than the playmate.
How do we make a decision?

My hubby will be gone with work until the end of october and we are due in july. He cant come home, so I am wondering how long I should take maternity leave for. I cant decide since I will only have my mom to help for one month and I do have a full time job. My job gives me 12 weeks all of wich are unpaid. I dont need to work but I feel obligated to come to work. Do many women go back to work early and raise 2 children by themselves. I am kind of scared since last time I had my hubby to help. I am worried about the new baby not having good sleeping patterns and me suffering at work. what do you think? How soon should I go back to work?

I shouldn't be getting bigger yet, should I?? I hate it! This is my first and I don't understand. I feel fat! I haven’t changed my eating habits. Should I be getting bigger this soon? I was told I wouldn’t notice any changes for quite sometime yet.

I would like to take 8 weeks, is that too much time? I just found out my insurance will cover 5 weeks which is great. I can afford to go 3 weeks without the pay. But is it going to look bad to my employers if i do that? I think legally I can take 12 weeks. Just wondering what other people are planning on doing? any suggestions?

i have a question, that i have been hopeing someone else would ask, just to see if i was the only one or not, i havent seen it so i will just go a head and ask it. ok in late late oct. i started noticeing that i couldnt hear to well out of my right ear, started getting worryed a bit, but wasnt bad, well i started hearing my heat beat in my ear ALL the time, started to drive me banana's so at my next with with my OB/GYN i asked her about it, seeing if maybe it was pregnancy related, i know that sometimes you get weird things when your pregnant. she said that it wasnt and i needed to go talk to my regular doc, so i made an appointment and seen her, i asked her about it and she said it was one of the tubes in my sineces that was partly clogged from an infection, maybe like a cold i never really cought. she said it will take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks tell it went away, well its jan and i still have it.... i was just curious to see if anyone else had something like this happen while prego.

I had an abortion when I was 18 the father was abusive and it was a relally bad time in my life, my periods were irregular but still would happen. After the abortion (I was 4 weeks pregnant) my periods started to become even more infrequent and almost none existant. Then after about 2 years it went back to being fairly normal again, but now (for the past 2 years) I think I have maybe 5-6 periods a year, they're very infrequent and when they do come, it's usally no more than a two or three days and very light. Does this mean I'm infertile? Could the abortion have caused it? Is this something that would be correctable or not? I have found someone I really loves and who i want to have and raise kids with, and would hate to think I could never have them. I haven't gone to an OB/GYN to find out yet, but I plan to, in the mean time I'd appreciate any thoughts or info on this.

My three week old is being breastfeed and wants to eat every hour to two hours even at night. I'm exasted and need sleep. I have actualy thought about quiting breatfeeding because I'm so tired. I also have a eight year old who was formula fed I don't remember him eating as often. I am realy trying to stick out this breatfeeding thing (It's got to get better right?) I know it is best for baby and me but he never seems to stay full for long. What is your personal experiance on this matter and what is the average age when they don't want to eat all the time?? HELP
