well i hate my dad i havent spoken to him in years and i dont plan to, and i actually have a real reason to. he walked out on his 7 young children after cheating on my mom, after he left my mom with $22 thousand of bills and took the money we got from suing the board of ed when my brother died. my dad now lives with his gf and his first son from that lady. a dead beat. (tmi) i say i hate my mom too but im just mad at her for being up my *** all the time

I really don't think teens hate there parents but most of them think they do because as a teen we know everything and don't like being told what to do or how to act. In some cases when a teen is being abused I can defiantly see them hating their parent. If it is just the norm, don't tell me what to do thing then they will grow out of it. If it is because they were abused, they have reason. Still even then like in my case I was raised and tought to love and respect your parents no matter what. I can do that with my mother even though life was less than normal or happy. I can not do that with my real father.
