As a man i wonder how can a woman who has gone through the process of giving birth once, get herself in the condition to have to go through it a second time! Have women short memories or are they all crazy!! Giving birth looks like the most scary thing ever, is it as bad as it appears?

ok the deal is that my daughter 4, neice 9, live with my sister and I, they got head lice about 6weeks ago, sooooo we washed everything from carpets, bedding, car seat, toys our selfs you name it, we either washed it threw it out, sprayed it, bagged it, flipped it you name it we did it. We've enen to the point o where one of the scratch at all were on it and doing it all over again, for weeks. Well their back. What to do???????/

I have a wonderful daughter who is 5 months old and I want her to have a brother or a sister (not now but in a couple of years). The only thing is that I am scared to get pregnant again. My first pregnancy went smooth, didn't have any morning sickness or any other complications, I lost weight , no cravings. It was great. My daughter is great rarely cries, slept through the night(6hrs) right home from the hospital and is over all a happy baby. I am just scared that if I have another one the pregnancy is going to be horrible, the labor will be painful(first labor had hardly any pain it was great), and that my second child will be colicky and a handful. So am I paranoid or are those legitament worries.

My daughter is a straight A student, that loves school. She has made the Honor Roll every marking period that she has been in school. She is cogently is 2nd grade and has a very stern and ruff teacher. In the past week my daughter had come home upset because her teacher embarrassed her. She told my daughter "you must need glasses, cuz you don't know what your doing". Than a day later, she mentioned to my daughter ( in front of the entire class) that her grades were coming down. I felt this was not right. Am i over reacting? My daughter asked me why she did not just pull her aside to tell her. She is discouraging her. I feel like this women is intimidating my daughter and also being to tuff on her. I have schedlued a meeting with her. Parents....... am I wrong to ask this women to refrain from doing this to my daughter?? Thanks

I'm from Australia and I was in the states in October with my husband and 7 month old baby. I was shocked at the way people reacted to my breastfeeding my bub.
Comments like "isn't she a little too old to be breastfed?" At 7 months old! In Australia we are encouraged to breastfeed until 2 years old!
And to breastfeed while i was in public - oh my God! The way people were getting so uncomfortable! I am modest and i don't just flop it out, but heck if bub is hungry i will feed her, discretely.
It is illegal over here to tell someone they are not allowed to breastfeed in a public place, and now i hear some places in the USA do not allow mothers to breastfeed.
I don't get it??? I was in total culture shock for the 3 weeks i was there. I felt so sorry for American mums who want to breasfeed but who will probably bottle feed or give up breastfeeding because they are looked down upon, or they have had it engraved in their mind that it is 'disgusting' or 'sexual'.
such a shame!

My hubby wants to name our first child after a car?In particular the car our child was concieved in a Camaro!If it a girl he wants to name her Camara!My hubby is a 28 yr old man and still in love with his sports cars!We have 2 sport cars and 1 SUV.So far there has been no way to talk him out of this the only comprimise for him is to name our child after another type of car! Thank goodness he wants the sex of the baby to be a suprise! But i asked the doctor to check and know i am having a boy!I How can i convice him naming our child that would be bad parenting?

I'm 13. I live with my grandma. She doesn't like for my boyfriend to call me because she says she doesn't want him talking about sex on the phone. He continues to call and she gets mad. I am 37 weeks and I started having REALLY bad backache, I can't sleep, I can't sit, I can't do anything. I tried recomended excersice, but no succes. I had a tylenol this morning and it helped me for couple hours, but I am not sure whether or not can I have another one before I go to bed tonight?

My 6 months old son has pooped 3 times today. He usually only goes once a day. It was not watery, but fairly solid and soft. No fever but he is grumpy and fussy. I noticed to bumps under his gums. They don't look red or inflamed, but could the pooping be because he is teething?

13 year old Daughter. Has really bad Trapped Wind

Her stomach hurts her so much. What can i do to relieve it ?

She's in tears because of the cramping. Given her a Hot water -Bottle. Hasn't made any difference.

I got my period a year ago, last January, and I still haven't told my mom. Then I was 13 and now I'm 14. I'm just too freaking shy to tell her, but I wouldn't be if I knew she wouldn't lecture me. I already know everything I need to know, but she probably won't believe me. My mom is also sometimes borderline psychotic and I am afraid she might freak out and yell at me for making her spend money on pads.

Can you breastfeed by pumping your own milk without the baby ever having to feed directly from you? And can you get goat's milk at the store like regular milk? Some people said that is what you can use if your baby is allergic to reg. milk or lactose intolerant...( that is if I read that right.)

I have six kids and 4 of them have peirced ears. two of them got them a few years ago at age five, one of them 6 years ago got hers peirced at two, and one got hers last week at age 4. I dont know if its to young for a peircing. My daughters are 3 and 1 and they want there ears peirced.
