I became pregnant at 18. I am the youngest of 4 children and was the first to have a child. My parents were upset but slowly adjusted and eventually accepted the fact that they were going to be grandparents. If your family truly loves you, they will be by your side once everything settles down.

I'm 17 turning 18 on January 28th. My parents reacted horribly. But it's very understandable. In their eyes I'm still a little girl. To others I may be as well but I am well educated and very mature for my young age.

I got pregnant right before I turned 19, but I was with my boyfriend for a year and we already lived together and talked about marriage before it happened so it wasn't that big of a deal. If you don't have a steady boyfriend and you still live with your parents they may react a little differently. I was so scared to tell them, but they didn't react at all like I thought they would. I thought it would be such a big deal (it was, but in a good way) because he was my first boyfriend and everything.

I got pregnant first when I was almost 16. It was not done on purpose but it happened. I told my mom and she cried and blamed her self at first, but then at 11 weeks when I found out I was having a miscarriage, she cried harder than I did. She took me to the doctor and made sure I took my Vitamins. I got married at 16. At 17 I had my first daughter and my mom was soo happy. She bought me everything I would ever need. I am now almost 20 and 9 weeks with my third. My mom loves both my daughters and is so excited about this one. I am still married to the same man all have the same dads. I have my GED and couldn't be happier with my family. So to plainly answer your question, My mom was sad at first, but was by my side through it all. She never put me down or made me feel stupid. She still loved me 100% and was by my side even when my two girls were born. No true mother would leave their child's side when they need them the most. Good luck to you and if you ever need to talk feel free to email me and I can help answer questions. Being a mom is the best thing I have ever done!!

My daughter got pregnant at 19. After I had a momentary " bad parenting moment" I pulled myself together and I made sure she had all of the resources and information that she needed to have to make a decison about what she wanted to do and I told her I would support her decision regardless of what it was.

Today, she has a beautiful 6 month old baby and has turned out to be a good mom. Too bad her boyfriend has been a jerk and that his parents want nothing to do with the baby. Their loss.

I got pregnant at 17 and at 19.

My mom was with me for the pregnancy test for my first pregnancy. She was excited, so was my dad - granted he was a little less excited but over time he was thrilled. My sister had already given them their first grandson when she was 18. My second pregnancy was with their 3rd grandchild. They love being grandparents (just don't call them "Grandma and Grandpa" lol) so both were thrilled right away.

I'm pregnant now but 25 years old. This will be their 7th grandchild. First thing my mom said when I told her: "Awesome! I knew you weren't done having babies quite yet!"

So, over all for me it's always been quite easy to tell my parents that I'm expecting - and they've always been very supportive of me.

I had my first baby at 19. My Mum and his Mum were cool with it.
But I'd also told my Mum when I was 16 that I was gonna have a baby at 18. So I got all the lectures then.
And I'd also lost a baby the year before so everyone was really happy that we had a beautiful healthy baby.

I got pregnant when I was 17, had the baby at 18. I had told my mother one week after her 40th birthday. I came flat out and told her and she said I can't say anything right now. We didn't talk for three days. One day I sat down beside her and said I am scared and can't do this without your support. She helped me with everything from that day on and was quite happy about it.
