I am trying to conceive and now I have stopped taking my birth control pills. I haven't tooken them since Dec. 17th. I was just wondering- does your period mess up after you stop taking birth control because I was suppose to start my period on the 9th but still no period. Should I assume that my period is just messed up and wait or should I take a pregnancy test? I find it kind or hard to believe that I am pregnant because I don't really feel any different and I heard it can take 3 months or longer to get pregnant after taking birth control.

My daughter has been going to her daycare for nearly a year.. The other day we find out that she can't go because my provider has to many kids and kiera was the most recent she took on. So yeah i have no daycare.. I have been looking around and i have 2 options. Go with the lady that my daycare recommended. Or go to the center here in town.. The center is very old and run down looking but she would be in a preschool type setting and have set activities and things like that real structured.. Or an at home daycare thats more expensive and is recommended to me.. I love my provider that i had to leave!! She was like family to my daughter and my little girl loved going there!! I don't know what to do i'm very upset i have to move her. I had a bad experience and i'm scared i will be sorry.. What would you do??? Which option sounds better to you?

I have heard of families that are having triplets, quadruplets, and higher getting free gifts from companies such as diapers and baby food. My friend is having quadruplets and I would like to help her by getting some info on this. Is there a web site that provides a list of companies?

I have been with this guy for 8 months now and we just found out we are having a baby, i am just about 6 weeks pregnant. At first he seemed in shock and now he seems excited, but we really haven't had a conversation about his or my expectations about the baby. He is 36 years old and has no kids while i am 29 and have 3 from a previous marriage. Anyways, lately i feel like something just isn't right in our relationship and we haven't had sex in over a month as well as he no longer calls just to see how i am and to talk to me and he never compliments me anymore. Our conversations seem very short and really don't consist of anything important. He used to not be able to keep his hands off of me and was always complimenting me and he is generally a very affectionate and romantic person until now. Am wondering if this could be do to shock of the pregnancy, is it my hormones or maybe something really is wrong. Open to any suggestions?

i have had a healthy pregnancy but i read that semen can sometimes cause preterm labor...should we be using condoms? This started early Monday morning. I was having some painless contractions and when my son would move I would get this shooting needle like burning pain in my vaginal area. Went to the doctor and they said that I was 70% thinned already and they were concerned about my contractions so they sent me over to the hospital to be evaluated for a few hours. nothing had changed so they sent me home. Around 5 o clock wednesday I was having horrid pains that were putting me into tears. I dont really understand the counting and how many in a hour thing so I just called my midwife because it felt like they werent getting any less stronger. Went to the hospital and they told me i was 100% thinned and 1 cenimeter dialated. Contractions slowed after some meds they gave and they sent me home. Today i went to the bathroom and when i wipe my t.p had a dark pink tint to it. Can someone please help me understand what is going on. I am only 22 and this is my first and Im getting a little scared. Please hel

I am going to name my baby boy Ty'Rique - and call him Ty for short. I want to know what middle name you like better - Rashaad or Travis. My 4 year old got constipated a few months ago. After such a large stool, she started crossing her legs to keep from having a bm. I took her to the doc and he said it was a behavioral problem and not a physical one and that she was not chronically constipated, but if we let her continue to withold, she would become that way. He put her on mirilax for 6 months. He said we would have to make her go regardless of what she wanted until her behavior changed. I took her back to the same clinic for a regular exam and was seen by a nurse practitioner. She told me my daughter was chronically constipated or the doc wouldn't have put her on mirilax for 6 months. I explained the situation as the doctor had, but she continued to insist my child was chronically constipated. She then felt my childs abdomen and told me that my child needed an enema. My daughter had a bm the day before that was soft and another after the clinic visit that was soft and one today that was soft. (went to clinic yesterday
