1. when you finger a girl with a stain of sperm in the finger that you will be using, are there any possibilities for the girl to get pregnant? how? what's your basis?

2. does the sperm still lives when exposed into air or water? How? what's your basis?

We are in the process of taking custody of two children who are in local authority care. We are doing this on the basis of a special guardianship order (UK) which is a permanent move, that is akin to adoption. Essentially, we would be the legal guardians with complete parental rights and responsibilities until the children reach 18. They are 6 and 2 at the moment.

We have been told we can apply to change their surname to ours and we think this may be a good idea in the long-term because having a different surname to their parents highlights children as different etc. but we would need to justify this. As the girls get older, they will be more upset by their difference and their peers will start to question them, but at this point this probably won't happen.

What are your views on this? Do we be forward thinking and seek to make the change now, or should we wait until they are older and it becomes an issue? We are torn with this issue.

I am 6 and a half months pregnant, and i want to find out, if I clean our house and I use Jik, and Domestos and all those heavy cleaning materials, is it bad for me and the baby, or can i use it without any worry. I get worried so quickly about everything, I'm even scared of sweeping and mopping the house, cause just now it hurts the babay. Am I paranoid?

I missed a couple of pills last month and I come to the end of my pill packet this sunday.My breasts are really tender and have been since Dec 26th (this never usually happens before a period) and i've been having hot flushes.I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative.When is the best time to do a test if your on the pill because I know you dont have a 'real' period when your on it. Any help appreciated because it's driving me mad!!

IT's been in there for around three weeks. This is shocking to me because I am a very clean person. I have cleaned out inside completely since, quite a few times. Has anyone had a similar experience? and what are the risks of pregnancy? Or infection?

ok i started my period nov28th and haven't had a period since and today is the 12th.. so if i took it now would it show up? and when i buy the test if i went on and took it as soon as i got the test wouldit show up? or should i wait wil in the morning?

My 3 year old son has no concentration, when he is spoken to he will focus on something else alot of the time, usually when the television is on, I've tried turning it off, but then he'll find something else to focus on. It gets very fustrating especially when I'm trying to teach him things. What can i do to make him concentrate in what I'm saying. Also he finds it difficult taking NO for an anwser, and usually ends up having tantrums.

i had 2 years relationship with this girl. We have planned to get married and had sexual relationships. Our last sexual intercourse was 40 days ago. After that she got one period and she confirmed that with me on phone. Our relationship broke up 4 days ago due to family reasons. Both parents are against our marriage. Hi I would like to know if it is normal for a 7 week old baby to sneeze alot . she has been sneezing every day since day 1 but she has no fever and seems fine on with regards to having cold symptoms. I would also like to know if it is normal to have a breastfeed baby spiting up alot of milk. it doesn't happen every day but sometimes we get a day when she spits up alot of milk. she has like 3 to 4 bowel movements and about 4 to 5 wet daipers in 24 hours. our paediatrician seems to be ok with it but i am still a bit concerned. thanks for any reply

My son is almost 4 months old and we are trying to transition him to sleeping in his crib. He had been sleeping there for almost a week but then got sick and fell out of the habit. Now he knows how to roll over from his back to his front really well so when he wakes up in his crib he rolls over onto his stomach and starts crying. I bought him one of those wedges but he rolls out of it. Any advice on how to get him to stay asleep with his new found talent? Before when we were putting him to sleep it wasn't an issue yet. I am probably stressing about nothing but what are the chances? I had unprotected sex 2 days before I got my period. Only once and he did not ejaculate. What are the chances of being pregnant? I have all the signs that I'm about to get my period (due in a week) but the symptoms are stronger then usual.....honestly what are the chances?
