I missed a couple of pills last month and I come to the end of my pill packet this sunday. My breasts are really tender and have been since Dec 26th (this never usually happens before a period) and i've been having hot flushes.I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. When is the best time to do a test if your on the pill because I know you dont have a 'real' period when your on it. Any help appreciated because it's driving me mad!!

Speak with your Dr as they may advise STOPPING the pill! Until you find out for sure use an alternative form of contraception as you are at risk of pregnancy anyway because of missing the pills. Maybe opt for the contraceptive injection every 3 months if your suitable. Then you won't have to remember to take the pill!
Tender breasts certainly is a sign but you may be too early to show pregnant on a urine test. Repeat one making sure it is the first pee of the day as this is when pregnancy hormones are most concentrated. Good Luck what ever the outcome. Luv & Best wishes J x

If you get pregnant when you are on the pill, you will not have a period because the pregnancy hormones override the drop in pill hormones, which is what causes your breakthrough bleed. So the first day of a missed period is still the day you should test.
Try another test in a few days. Although I would have thought you'd have got a positive result by now if you are pregnant.

Btw - I really don't think that trying to get fluid from your nipples as someone suggested is going to show whether you are pregnant or not. It's unusual to get any colostrum produced until at least 20 weeks. I am 25 weeks pregnant and have no leaking yet!!

wait untill you would have come on then try another test by missing the pill you could have just made your hormones go out of sync on the other hand there is a chance you could be pregnant I missed the pill for 4 days and a month later had sore boobs and found out I was pregnant so the chances are 50/50 cos also when you come off the pill its one of the easiest times to fall preggie so good luck!

i only ever get sore breasts when i am pregnant so this could be a sign you are pregnant.you need to wait till your period is at least 1 day late then do a test(even when its not a real period)
if they still dont come you need to test every 3 days.
i had negative tests with both my pregnancys untill i was more than a week late. it just depends on your hormone levels.

purely approximately all and sundry right here gave you good solutions. yet relatively, in on the instant's international, except you have greater time than sense, a crock pot IS the only answer. The flavors have time to easily all meld mutually and it is fool info. positioned the confusing greens on the backside of the crock pot (potatoes, carrots, onions) then the brisket, then approximately an hour till now finished place the cabbage on appropriate. (with each and all the needful seasonings; and don't use water for heaven's sake. Watery corned beef! what's that.) surely, corned beef isn't an irish invention, the final is from Kosher Delis ... and the final interior the international from Meyerberg's deli in San Jose California (was interior the city & usa procuring mall) 2d ultimate at Cantor's Deli in l. a. Have a brilliant dinner

I don't know if you have ever been preg before, or had kids. but try "milking" you nipples. I know it's tender when your breasts are sore, but if fluid comes out (it will be a cream colour) I would repeat the test in a few days. Fluid is usually a good indicator. It was the first sign for me with my 2 kids a few years ago. Otherwise wait till you actually miss a period and try again. Hope this helps.

tender breasts can be caused by a few other reasons. It doesn't necessarily mean that you are pregnant. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to make sure until you either get a positive test or get your period. It is terrible to have to wait though, I agree.

possibly your breasts are tender as u having a "real" period due to a few missed ones and not just a monthly bleed.
