this is the worst thing ever!!! i know and they even say that if you think your preg you should stop smoking ASAP *or never start* anyway i think i might be pregnant since me n my pertner have been trying. it seems like everytime i smoke i get really bad period like pains i cant even enjoy my funny cigarettes affects bc i am trippin off my cramping. the first time it happened i was like eh.. itsnothing but the second time i was like WTF!? ive given the bad habit up awhile a ago the opportunity was there but i wish i would have passed it!! anyway.. could this be becuase i might be preg that i am gettin cramps like that like my bdys sayin.. *oh hell no girlfriend* ?! please no lecturing iknow its not good to smoke at all especially when trying to concieve....

Hi all you mummys and expectiong mummys, im 9 months and 3 weeks pergnant, i refused to be induced and i was wondering whether i should have a home birth or a hospital birth, what is difference, and is it dangerous to keep on with this pregnancy? i really definetly want totaly natural. please help?

My daughter is now 6 months and 3 weeks old.Her Birth weght was 3.4 Kgs.
Now 7.7 Kgs We have introduced solids. Currently she takes Veggies pureed
in morning, Readymade Cereal for lunch, curd in the evening and pureed
fruits at night. All quantities are equivalent to 6 spoon readymade
Cereal(after mixing water and prepared). We have introduced
Veggies(Squash, Pumpkin, Zuchini,Sweet Potato), Cereal(Rice, Wheat),Fruits
(Apple,Pears,Plums,Banana), Curd.
She has not responded well to Sweet Potato and Banana, she got
constipation after these. We are planning to introduce these again after 8
months.

We have few queries:
Are we on right track?
How can we better it?
When to introduce
1)Ripe Papaya as raw fruit
2)Un-ripe papaya as veggie
3)Egg yolk and egg white
4)Walnut
5)Fruit juice(Citrus and non-Citrus)
6)Spinach and other leafy vegetables
7)Paneer, cheese and other dairy product.
8)Fish and lean meat?
9)Ragi

Detail she is 75 and has heart problems and had a lung removed last year. She wants alone time with the baby and I understand this but I'm nervous and worried that something might happen. I would be a nervous wreck leaving her there and my baby is only 5 months old and I am just not ready for her to be babysat by anyone. Problem is she won't stop asking for me to babysit and says she must babysit once a week, kind of a demand, how do I handle this?.

Hi well just found out my gf is pregnant, I am goint to be 40 this year, she 37. She has 3 kids by another marriage (all live with her) all in teens, I hava one teen (lives with my ex) by previous marriage. Anyway am happy about it just bit worried about age thing. I keep thinking when kid is same age as our existing kids i will be old! I.e at 15 for kid i will be 56! Worried about what it will be like for kid to have old parents, if i will be able to support at kid at that age properly etc. Guess just want to give that kid a good life, its probably a dumb worry but anyway what do you think about having kids later on in life in general???????

My 18 month old for the past week has been getting up in the middle of the night to walk around and mess with things. Is this normal? I have to put the gate up and lock her in now. She takes 1 nap around 1pm everyday and goes to bed around 9pm. Nothing has changed at all, why is she doing this?

I gave birth 2 1/2 weeks ago and I got hemorrhoids from pushing so hard during labor (sorry if this is gross!) They are really painful and it hurts to sit/walk/go to the bathroom. How do I get rid of them, or at least make them stop hurting?

My pediatrician told me that at 4 months I should start rice cereal and baby food around 5 months. I was wondering what and when to move on to other foods? She's really interested in what other people are eating and I know that I have read in some places that is a sign that they are ready for food? My son used to take any kind of bottle and switched fine between breast and bottlefeeding and now all of a sudden he is really picky (he is 7 weeks) and I have tried all sorts of bottles and nipples and the one he seems to really like the most is the Playtex system and he latches onto it great, and he looks the same as when he is breastfeeding. I was just wondering could I use the smaller liners in the larger holders?
