me and my husband has been trying to get pregnant for the past year now we tried ......we are not steiral the doctor said but we are not also having a chile either are we doing somthing wrong?

There are several things that you and your husband can do to increase the chances of you concieving. 1st, use the proper timing, if you are keeping track of your menstral cycle, you should have more intercourse 1-3 days before your set to have your period, this will increase the chances of fertilization. 2nd, positioning, the more sperm that is delivered to the back of your vagina, the better chance you have of getting pregnant, use gravity, it would be easier for you to get pregnant if you were doing it "doggy style" as opposed to you being on top, where the gravity would in a sence pull the sperm away from where its trying to go. 3rd, use water based non spermicidal lubricants to decrease the friction for the sperm. 4th, If you have been to your doctor, and you are infact fertile, you can always start on fertilization drugs to increase your chances.

I laugh thinking of the answer that first popped into my which was: "Try to prevent getting pregnant and you'll get pregnant." lol.
But all kidding aside. The health books I read talk about increasing vitamin E for increase estrogen production (for you) and for men to wear boxers not briefs to keep 'their package' cool so sperm are produced in abundance and very active. In the heat sperm are sluggish and don't live as long in the womb after ejaculation.
Also, you can take your temperature every day for a month in the morning, noon and night and record your temperature. When women are most vulnerable, ovulation, their temps go up a point or so. Also, when you're most fertile, your vaginal -icky-sticky is very wet and slimy (sorry not to be rude here). Also, less frequent sex allows sperm to build up in the male. So watch your temp., take more (natural not synthetic) vitamin E, and try to forget about getting pregnant, and you will.
They even make "Are you Ovulating?" Test kits you can try. Good Luck and let us know if you conceive down the road....

Give it another 6 months then ask your Dr for some help. There are drugs to help you fall pregnant if you have no obvious problems with fertility. If your dr doesn't agree then get a second opinion. Lots of my friends have become pregnant very quickly with medical intervention, who had previously been trying for much longer than 12 months. Good luck.

Sometimes tension and pressures are enough reasons why a couple may not have children. Or one or both of you drink a lot of alcohol, smoke alot too. Try to have a healthy lifestyle, if the doctor said both of you are not sterile, it could be that reason. Mind what you are putting in your mouths, as I said alcohol, nicotine, drugs wont help you get preggy...so watch it...

do it evey day and u the woman stay in bed after the encounter that may help ( you know no walking or taking a bath or oing pee rigth after) good luck

Get an ovulation predictor from the pharmacy and it'll tell you exactly when to do it to get pregnant.

hi g dont confiuse when u are enjoy sex with your husbad not take tension because tension not concvey to enjoy the real sex i then enjoy or check with doc may be some fault in you or your husbad
