My son used to take any kind of bottle and switched fine between breast and bottlefeeding and now all of a sudden he is really picky (he is 7 weeks) and I have tried all sorts of bottles and nipples and the one he seems to really like the most is the Playtex system and he latches onto it great, and he looks the same as when he is breastfeeding. I was just wondering could I use the smaller liners in the larger holders?

yes ma'am you can use the small liners with big bottles, you can even use big liners in small bottles.
My daughter has been using that system since birth and she loves it. Heres a tip: When he gets too old for the slow flow nipples, use the latex othadontic medium flow nipple. My daughter loves this nipple and refuses to eat out of anything else. good luck

I don't see why you couldn't. I did it all the time. It does make it a little harder to make sure all the air is out but other than that they work great and there are times that you can't find the 8 oz liners.

Yes you can. Stay consistent with one system though and don't let him go to sleep with it! Pretty soon he'll be sucking up the bigger size and wanting more--that's what happened with my son! Have fun!
