Did anyone try the shettles method for trying to conceive a specific sex? Did it work?

My hubby and I have a son and would like to have a daughter, although we'd truly be happy with either sex, and were curious to know if anyone has tried and successfully conceived a child of the desired sex? Thanks.

My husband and I tried for a girl and got a girl...we used Dr. Shettles book as our guide...whether or not that is why it worked out will always be a mystery but we did follow it to a T and used ovulation tests.
