Hi I would like to know if it is normal for a 7 week old baby to sneeze alot . she has been sneezing every day since day 1 but she has no fever and seems fine on with regards to having cold symptoms. I would also like to know if it is normal to have a breastfeed baby spiting up alot of milk. it doesn't happen every day but sometimes we get a day when she spits up alot of milk. she has like 3 to 4 bowel movements and about 4 to 5 wet daipers in 24 hours. our paediatrician seems to be ok with it but i am still a bit concerned. thanks for any reply

all perfectly normal. my healthy four month old boy sneezes daily too and always spits up alot of breast milk, there is definately a scientific reason that young babies vomit so much, as long as it not projectile and he/she is not spewing up the whole feed, i wouldnt be concerned.
my son seemed to poo every feed for the first few weeks and still at 4/1/2 months has a bowel movement at least once a day so all seems fairly normal there too.

Breastfed babies can spit up a lot of milk. Something you ate may not have agreed with her or she may have eaten too much. My oldest daughter spit up every time she nursed. While I was burping her, she would spit up all over me and the floor. Turns out she had reflux and they gave her medicine which helped a lot. If your daughter isn't doing it often, then you probably have nothing to worry about. The many poops and pees seem normal too.

I'd tell your doctor about her sneezes. She may be allergic to something in her environment or to something that you are eating. Good Luck!

It all sounds perfectly normal. Breastfed newborns pooh with every feed usually. Most newborns vomit up milk with every feed as well & continue this practice for months. My babies all poohed 5-10 x day 7 vomited up just as much in the first couple of months. The biggest risk with vomiting & poohing is dehydration if your baby is sick with it. If your baby is having wet nappies at least 2-3 times a day then you have nothing to worry about. Get a second opinion if you believe your baby is unwell.

ours does the same thing. according to our doctor, it's totally normal. i can't remember what he said about the sneezing -- but he did say every baby does this. as far as the milk, i've found that she only spits up when we can't get a burp out of her. try burping your baby more often and don't give up and just feed it more. that's when the spit up happens with us. good luck -- sounds like you have a perfectly normal baby :)

It sounds like it could be an allergy of some kind. Either to the formula or some other allergen. Talk to your pediatrician to make sure.
